He has always been way too full of himself but he had good writers.

It's just angry, demeaning propaganda pretending to be a news entertainment show

Most celebrities/politicians eventually believes their success, which even if it required an insane amount of hard work, contained no element of luck. So eventually they believe they are right on pretty much anything. Worse, they tend to surround themselves with people who agree with them.

It's Andrew Sullivan who desperately wants to stay relevant. What a dumbass. The loser had a brief moment as Editor of the New Republic, failed at that, and is now attacking one of the most important commentators/comedians in history. The only problem with Stewart is that he quit, in order to have a normal life. I don't blame him, but he's been so important as a voice of reason in political discussions. Someone paid him off or threatened him, or both.

I haven't watched The Problem With Jon Stewart, but I used to enjoy the Daily Show and thought he was fairly objective even if I didn't always agree with him. Now Stephen Colbert, I couldn't stand his pompous, condescending monologues and don't think he has a funny bone in his body.

Couple videos come to mind, Stewart calls out the media for ignoring Ron Paul: Media vs Ron Paul

One from last year, Stewart pushes back against Colbert on the Wuhan Lab Leak: Jon Stewart On Vaccine Science And The Wuhan Lab Theory

Yes, Jon Stewart has shown some independence from the super-woke. The lab leak bit on Colbert was amazing; I don't know how he managed to survive the censorial groupthink that forbade any such discussion of the theory at that time. '

And he scored some points in my book last year when the media tried to use his jokes about the Harry Potter series to revive the mob attacks on J.K. Rowling and he made a point to come out and affirmatively express his appreciation of J.K. Rowling and her work. He did not have to do that, and many celebrities these days wouldn't risk being associated with her.

Jon Stewart is a "racial religion" zealot. So noted.

I never watched him, and I see have missed nothing. I never will watch him.

Demonstration of evil. You can't argue.
