Not that I know much about this, but what I can see in the Spectator (https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/the-green-party-s-growing-contempt-for-women-s-rights) and on Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aimee_Challenor) and in the recent Reddit activity is that there are serious, professional attacks against Aimee, at least some of which appear to be unfounded. The Specator is the Tory/alt-right announcement board for many, which is naturally attacking Aimee and the Green Party. It's what they do. Her Wikipedia page is obviously written by someone who wants to write mainly about her father, rather than about her, and is a remarkably professional direct attack on Aimee. If she's guilty of anything illegal, this should be addressed in a court of law. Perhaps she's a terrible person (I don't know), but the attacks on her are much more obvious, and show that there are some well-paid writers who are helping to remove her from politics, and if possible, from Reddit. As for Reddit mod policy, doxing should not be tolerated, so it seems /r/ukpolitics made the right decision.

As for Reddit mod policy, doxing should not be tolerated, so it seems /r/ukpolitics made the right decision.

Nobody was doxxed though, a mod posted an article critical of the green party that mentioned Aimee but not reddit in any way, and he was banned by the admins but later restored.

professional attacks Perhaps she's a terrible person (I don't know

Her husband is a diaper wearing furry pedo. The third partner in their marriage is a diaper wearing furry pedo. She is a diaper wearing furry pedo. Her father is a diaper wearing pedo rapist kidnapper.

You see the massive red flag? This looks like a pattern of child abuse is being perpetuated. Now, if you're saying this is just a smear job, then I'd like to see the proof because the case for it is pretty convincing.

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (65 children)

a mod posted an article critical of the green party that mentioned Aimee but not reddit

Perhaps the mod knew that Aimee was one of the subjects of the article and the comments on Reddit began to address Aimee's potential connection to Reddit, or as a mod. There is no evidence that she was was not outed/doxxed at Reddit, as we've seen no screenshots, and we're unlikely to see the comments that were deleted. But let's say none of this happened. Why therefore make the subreddit private? This is the reason they gave the next day:

Please do not name this individual, at all.

The only narrative we have is the one a Saiditor has given here, that the mod was banned and other decisions were made for Aimee.

Reddit indicates that she was doxxed. I see no evidence that she was not doxxed. (Perhaps someone could post this?)

Regarding 'diaper wearing furry pedos', are these bears that like to date children? (I've never heard this term, and not sure of the purpose of the diaper and fur. Remember the Eddie Murphy joke?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mFf5B5qEX4 )

[–]jet199 15 insightful - 3 fun15 insightful - 2 fun16 insightful - 3 fun -  (34 children)

"There is no evidence that she was was not"

There's a term for that.

It also translates to "there's no evidence she was"

Anyway, it's impossible to doxx a well known public figure with a well known username.

Even with address details if you're very involved in politics you can't be doxxed. Aimee Challenor ran for political office and registered their home address as their election office. His address is already public record.

They are just trying to kill the story with any excuse they can find.

Don't you feel dirty defending and distracting from paedophiles and their enablers just to troll people you look down on?

Or does the smug sense of self righteous virtue override any basic morality or human feelings?

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (33 children)

OK - so she's famous enough to be harrassed and slandered without consequence.

I cannot find any evidence that she is a pedophile or has raped kids. Can you?

Well, since human females rarely get involved in pedophilia it is kind of relevant.

He displaying typical male fetish behaviour too.

[–]ActualTomboy 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (10 children)

Yeah, and it's "none of our business" that this obvious creep is a furry fetishist or a pedo either, right?

[–]jet199 7 insightful - 3 fun7 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

I've never stated he did.

Stay on topic.

You seem to be creating a poor victim narrative all on your own here and strawmanning everyone else to do it.

Have some basic self appreciation.

[–]emptiedriver 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (11 children)

I cannot find any evidence that she is a pedophile or has raped kids. Can you?

His father was convicted of raping a 10 year old girl, and his husband has posted those tweets as well as fantasy stories about child sex, and Challenor has maintained good relations with both of them, defending them or erasing any mention of problems when possible. He has also self-identified as a "little" which basically means lover of pedophiles. He may have been a victim in the beginning since he started to become a public figure before he was probably of age, but he's an adult now and part of a community that considers this okay.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (10 children)

Thanks for this. I appreciate that all of this is problematic, and have responded to some of this elsewhere. Her husband's twitter was supposedly hacked, he said, even if his comments might have been relatively consistent with his personal views about fantasies about kids. This is a thought crime, I suppose, and if he wrote it, he's of course an asshole, with pedophile tendencies. I've not seen the 'little' comment or the definition. I will not defend Aimee's poor choices. I've tried to point out - from a legal standpoint (not personal) - that there is no evidence that she (and perhaps her husband) is definitely, without a doubt, a pedophile or has raped kids.

Did she try to manipulate or censor information about her father or herself? From a legal point of view (again, not personal), this can be problematic if she controls a public forum. Reddit, however, is a private company, and most of her fellow mods seemingly supported her at the company.

Did she enable her father and/or husband to enjoy rape or child porn. I don't know. I've not seen the evidence.

[–]NeedMoreCoffee 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (7 children)

Most of his fellow mods are also TIM's and dodgy as fuck.

Like bardfinn a TIM who mods r/againsthatesubs a sub where users are known to make alt accounts and post hateful shit including child porn to get subs banned they deem unworthy of being on reddit.

Or drewdiepoodle a powermod TIM who has been caught luring kids to his house with the promise of drugs

https://www.reddit.com/r/MisterMetokur/comments/bgwsbu/how_reddit_powermods_are_unethically_grooming/

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

Thanks for the info - though this is so much further down the rabbit hole than I've ever been with this topic, and thus cannot understand:

I cannot find the meaning of TIM anywhere, and see a list here:https://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/TIM

I did not know this - https://www.reddit.com/r/againsthatesubs - existed, but now I see that it was banned and anyone can now request to take it over and moderate it.

A better archive of what you've sent me to is apparently here - http://archive.fo/btPIB - which has archived the images and links

I can't remember the last time I heard the name GallowBoob, but remember he was very active many years ago. Now there is a Redditor calling him an "autogynephile", which I had to look up. They provide a picture with him in eye makeup, but if I look now at his Insta page (thegallowboob) it's apparent that he just likes to take photos of himself and his activities, like almost everyone on Insta. I don't know why his Reddit account was suspended.

Regarding drewiepoodle, I see that this person has a Reddit account and is a moderator of 83 subs. It seems that this person tries to support trans/intersex people. I hope he doesn't influence teenagers, but will appreciate that this is perhaps happening and is definitely wrong.

I see this - https://archive.fo/Qs3jI - which is obviously related to your note about people who promote sex-reassignment for teenagers - but there is no indication of who the author was or the age of the teenager. I would agree that this is definitely wrong and 'dodgy'.

For what it's worth - I am personally annoyed to see so many LGBTQ+ posts get to front pages at Reddit, as it's not the stuff I care about or want to read. I've been curious, however, about the recent superstraight interests and anger about intersex people. One of my arguments about all of this is that adults should have the right to seek therapy and even physical changes that can help them with their personal concerns about their own sexuality. That said, I hope this can be strictly prohibited for people under age 18.

[–]NeedMoreCoffee 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

Sorry i made some confusing remarks. My bad!

TIM means trans identified male (transwoman). TIF is a trans identified female (transman). People who are gendercritical use those terms because we do not believe that men can literally become women and vice versa we call them how we see it.

I shortened the subreddit out of habit and it is not banned. Really sorry about that. https://www.reddit.com/r/AgainstHateSubreddits/

drewdiepoodle does influence teens as some of his subs he moderates are full of teens.

The superstraight was because of people are tired of being abused and called transphobic for not wanting to date transpeople. People have a right to have boundaries. Especially lesbians have taken the most abuse for not wanting to date TIM's who call themselves "lesbians".

I'm not sure what you mean with the anger about intersex people. I know a lot of intersex people who are really angry for being used as an argument for furthering the gender ideology when they want nothing to do with it.

I agree that adults should do what they want as long as they harm noone. However a lot of children and teens are being dragged into this mess and women are being hurt and that is very upsetting.

If you have any questions about any of this i'll gladly answer them

[–]emptiedriver 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Have you read the accounts provided by the Glinner update?

There are a lot of details about what he's specifically posted and what people that he's supported have specifically done. I don't know if he's been involved in any live-action abuse but I think it is pretty clear that he's been a consumer of child porn and comfortable having close relationships with people who have. Most likely he was the victim of that kind of thing himself and has just grown into a very sick minded individual. It's pretty sad but shouldn't result in pretending it's okay to allow him access to healthy kids.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Thanks for these. Yes, her father is a monster. Just think of the lengths to which these writers are going to criticize her and her partner because of her father's actions. (And there is no evidence there of her as a pedophile or a rapist.)

[–][deleted] 15 insightful - 3 fun15 insightful - 2 fun16 insightful - 3 fun -  (20 children)

The husband has written erotic literature involving children and admitted to being a attracted to kids in a now deleted tweet. They're all into this very particular kink that's very much like Aimee's father was. Both of Aimee's partners are older. I have no doubt she was the victim but she's into the kind of stuff that made her a victim.

At the very least these are serious allegations that need to be addressed. People have had far worse happen to them just for tweeting the wrong thing.

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (19 children)

Yes, though the partner claims his account was hacked (which is possible, when one considers the incredibly extensive attacks against these people). Sorry - thinking like a lawyer again - there is reasonable doubt for the the partner's Twitter case.

His erotic literature involving children: that is genuinely fucked up.

If Aimee is a victim of her father's abuse, imagine what she must be going through.

Regarding LGBTQ++++++, I have the feeling I am the only one who would defend them on Saidit, even if I don't understand their choices, in the least. If they harm children or others, yes, they should be locked up. If they don't, I think they have a right to their sexual choices (excluding child porn, which harms children).

[–][deleted] 7 insightful - 3 fun7 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 3 fun -  (14 children)

Yes, though the partner claims his account was hacked (which is possible, when one considers the incredibly extensive attacks against these people).

He should have said his little brother typed it, be just as believable imo.

If Aimee is a victim of her father's abuse, imagine what she must be going through

She's Stockholmed at this point, that's why her seeking out the same sexual gratification as her father with the same older/younger dynamic is so worrisome. If she's carrying on that tradition maybe she's grooming kids too.

Regarding LGBTQ++++++, I have the feeling I am the only one who would defend them on Saidit

Lots of people would defend lgb here.

[–][deleted] 7 insightful - 3 fun7 insightful - 2 fun8 insightful - 3 fun -  (9 children)

If we could really change genders I would support a person's decision to be whatever sex they wanted. Even grow 3 tits, 4 cocks, a vagina in each palm, ya know, have fun with it.

But since we can't, we just pretend, and play time is getting old.

I don't have much sympathy.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Currently a she

So she fucked up when she supported her father, and learned quickly that her approach was ridiculous. Think of the years of potential abuse at home, the abuses while in politics, and the continued abuses at her new job. I suppose you'd recommend she kill herself because of one mistake.

[–]GConly 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

This is a grown ass man. Not some confused teen.

[–][deleted] 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I agree that there is no evidence of her being a pedophile herself as of right now. Even so, she seems like a very troubled person and it is very concerning the lengths she went to to defend her father as well as her husband who is a pedophile (though no evidence to suggest he actually did anything to children in real life). Still very concerning.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Yes, very concerning.

Thankfully, the thought crimes division of Transphobiaville are on the case.

Jokes aside, apparently the husband wrote book or a document that promotes pedophelia, which should be addressed. I don't know what it is and don't want to know where it is.

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

He has straight up tweeted that he is into kids and has written smut involving minors.

Bragging about having pedophilia (or hebephilia or ephebophilia) is disgusting and means he's disgusting.

Not too informative but check out https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=179918613 too. The bodybuilding forum is a fucking trip. I don't even lift but I been lurking at that place off and on over the years.

Agreed - that is some interesting reading. It:

is enough to make my gorgeous locks go grey.

I lifted weights seriously for a few years long ago (Gold's Gym, when it started), and I suppose these comments don't surprise me. The weightlifting mindset helps with motivation, and is perhaps due to a higher level of testosterone (who knows), but one thing is sure: EVERYONE is D.C., not A.C., damnit! Typically when someone is accused of being a pedophile/rapist their contact with children/alleged victims are severed while the claims are investigated. Supposedly Aimee is involved in subs targeted to children.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Was she accused of being a pedophile/rapist? Was she indicted?

I see no evidence of wrongdoing on her part.

She also tried to escape the abuse of her in the UK by moving to the US.

Silencing & threatening people seems to be Challenor's MO for a long time.

These don't sound like good qualifications for a community admin or political candidate. This person needs psychological help, not a position of power & influence. We'll see if it works out as well for Reddit as it did for the Greens and the LibDems. Seems right on track so far.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (12 children)

She was being doxxed on a subreddit.

I get it: Saiditors and others want to hate Reddit, and her and trans people. But there is no evidence of wrongdoing on her part.

[–]slushpilot 13 insightful - 1 fun13 insightful - 0 fun14 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

Linking to an article with a public person's name—unrelated to Reddit—is not doxxing.

It's the hypersensitive overreaction that's the story here.

It's not about hating "trans people", it's people with a narcissistic personality disorder. "Needs help" ... I'm not the first to suggest it either.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

A brilliant video - I agree with every word. Thanks for sharing it.

And unless Aimee has done something that is illegal or especially abusive to others (other than asking for a subreddit intervention on her behalf), I would think she should be left alone to get on with her life.

[–]Happy_Blueberry3910 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I would think she should be left alone to get on with her life.

That's why some people join the politics, right?

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Seems she was literally pushed out of two parties and politics altogether.

[–]Happy_Blueberry3910 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I will just quote a comment from Reddit:

She's in the news for recruiting someone who literally tortured and raped a 10 year old girl in his attic. None of that is personal/confidential information by any means. The "doxxing" excuse for banning people who talk about it is Reddit's poor attempt at covering for the sick person they hired. Anybody who has children should be deeply disturbed by this.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yes - though I do not know the circumstances of the recruitment, when it happend, what the father was expected to do, why he was recruited, &c. Even if we can assume the worst about this, it's over. She's moved on, one would think. And I think it was because of this that she was pushed out of politics. So, should it haunt her at Reddit and the rest of her life? I don't know. Seems that one concern at Saidit is that the past deeds of ours (eg. a post on Twitter &c) should not ruin our lives, that freedom of speech is important (if not abusive).

[–]Happy_Blueberry3910 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

It seems that you speak like a typical leftist:

...Maybe... Perhaps... There is no evidence...

BUT YOU ARE ALL TRANSPHOBES!!!!!111

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Are you really a happy blueberry?

Here's the problem at Saidit: so many of the posts do not include reliable evidence. Even if someone posted something about free college education should be offered to everyone, or cancel all student debt, or raise the minimum wage, one could ask for the necessity for these liberal ideas. But those aren't the kinds of posts we're likely to see on Saidit.

[–]Happy_Blueberry3910 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Here's the problem at Saidit

It seems that censorship at Reddit isn't a problem for you. As long as they censor people with different opinions than yours.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I know we all don't like censorship at Reddit.

Regarding Redditor attacks on Aimee, shutting down the sub while mods figure it out seemed to be reasonable under the circumstances. Yes, the mod should not have been banned, which is why he was unbanned.

Bahahhahahahahahaa. It's a paywall site which severely limits its reach. Nice smear though.

It's like the Biden laptop. The cover-up is more alarming than the actual event. Why would they go to such lengths to censor?

The Specator

I can see the articles without subscription, or I see their posts on Twitter and Facebook. Perhaps I'm not seeing everything. It's a right-wing rag. Not sure what you're on about. Perhaps it's behind a paywall where you're located. And no need to be so snarky. Many Tories happily subscribe to this thing.

[–]Chipit[S] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

A rag. For publishing news you don't agree with. Wow...just, wow.

Pray tell, which journalistic sources meet your stringent standards for objectivity? Oh, please say the New York Times or al-Guardian. Please please please. Or The Atlantic.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

al-Guardian, "skews left" and is on the border of neutral?

BBC, the Britain-hating network, is neutral? The one that harbored pedophiles for decades? Watch this video and tell me the BBC isn't biased. They have clearly picked a side.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I thought.

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Yes, there are complaints about the Guardian and BBC.

But I wonder why you choose a UKIP and Marine Le Pen video as evidence of bias at the BBC. UKIP and Marine Le Pen are pushing agendas that are so far right-wing, and so much in the pockets of the .1% who want to avoid EU regulations (like noting the locations of their offshore accounts), that they've consistently lied via the right-wing news media, spreading disinformation, hatred, zenophobia, divisiveness, and so many other problems, just because they don't want to pay taxes. If you want to critique news media bias, why pick extreme right-wing examples? They make the BBC look good. Consider instead the news media slaughter of Corbyn and other Labour party politicians and supporters as supposedly anti-Jewish because they support Palestinians. The BBC did not address that in a balanced way, and instead joined the disinformation campaign to discredit politicians who support Palestinians. This has also killed the momentum of the Labour party - or what little momentum they occasionally gained. And Corbyn is not a clever politician, so it's good he's stepped aside. UKIP and Marine Le Pen are lying, dangerous assholes who are puppets for the 1% who want to reduce the 99% to poverty.

It's amazing how much you read other people's minds, tell them what they believe, and then crap on them for what you made up. Do you even realize you do this? Or you just get an idea into your head and suddenly it's the truth?

The BBC did not address that in a balanced way, and instead joined the disinformation campaign to discredit politicians who support Palestinians.

You just argued that BBC was neutral and impartial. Now you're saying they're not. You're arguing against yourself - and losing.
