How is this not anti gay? Imagine being attacked for your sexual preferences on the grounds that YOU aren't tolerant! Peak doublethink.

TRAS came up with preference. That word implies choice.

Homosexuality is a sexual orientation. Heterosexuality is a sexual orientation. None of us woke up one day and simply decided we preferred our sexuality. TRAS tell us it’s a preference so that they can attempt to manipulate and browbeat lesbians into sucking what they call their girldick.

A dick is a dick and if you have xy chromosomes, you are a male, not a woman.

"Preference"

Hmmmmm, I wonder where I've heard that word used in the context of sexual orientation... Oh that's right, the freaking ex-gay movement. That's exactly what these transgender activists are promoting.

Genital preference. The sexuality refers to the gender you like. Trans women are women, therefore lesbians like trans women OR have transphobic genital preference.

No. Sexual orientation involves a person’s sexual and emotional attraction.

Gender theorists began to use preference in their gaslighting campaign. Lesbians and gays don’t take our innate sexual orientation on and off like a dress or a pair of pants. Bisexuals sexual orientation is to both sexes.

Conversion camps don’t work. Our sexuality is innate. It is homophobia to tell a lesbian that she should be date a man just because he puts a dress on and tells her that he magically has become a woman. Sexuality does not work that way.

Gender is a social construct.

Gender isn't a social construct. How it is expressed is certainly influenced, but it's difficult to argue for something being socially constructed when it comports with biology in upwards of 99.5% of people across all cultures. What these people did was to first push gender over sex, because they obviously couldn't reasonably argue that biology is socially constructed. They then conflated gender expression with gender, effectively redefining the latter to the former. After some decades they are now at the point where they are willing to argue that gender, which is read to be sex, is indeed socially constructed.

They've done a very good job of confusing people with the supposed distinction between gender and sex.

Sorry, as I explained elsewhere, this isn't what I believe, just how I've seen some TRA's get around your point.

Oh thank you. I thought your viewpoint totally valid! All we can bring to the table are our experiences, share, grow and learn together.

I've just signed up to do training to be a better "lgbtq+ ally", and betting most will be this gender stuff, and absolutely nothing about the unique challenges lesbians and gay men have. I hear how they talk.

Sexual orientation is innate, immutable. To think otherwise is homophobic. Gender expression is changeable. Most are strictly stereotypes anyway.

Regardless, you can hold onto the trans fantasy that men are actually women until the cows come home but they are men. Are you trans, is that why you hold tightly to the dream?

Sorry, I should clarify that I absolutely don't believe it. It's just how I've heard them get around the whole choice thing. A lesbian must like self identified women because twaw or something. Liking no penis in your women is a preference, and one that they liken to race to make it sound worse.
