Hey stranger!

Good. I am glad they did defend it. Funny how the "Nieman Foundation" (the source of this tweet is one of their staff, who adds a link to their own article, which is clearly biased in favor of TRAs) claims as its mission "to promote and elevate the standards of journalism,” and yet they can't see how biased most mainstream reporting is on this topic, and complain about the NYT instead, it being one of the few that (lately) has (finally) been trying harder to do actual journalism.

Anything that is not 100% toeing the party line is "hurting" trans people. Yes, reality hurts, and the insanity of trying to deny reality is what requires the rest of us to hold the line on observing and stating reality over and over again instead of doing useful things with our time.

The endless complaining about the world not catering to their every nonsensical whim—I wonder if they will ever get that the world is not theirs for the co-opting.

I would want to see the article in question which say the thing about HIV.

The entire premise of that argument is strange if your depiction is accurate. Basically implying all transgender people are parallel to the portion of gays who had contracted an incurable disease?
