As much as I’d like to have sex with leather daddies, I know they didn’t do all the work. In fact, it helps if leather daddies keep their fetishes private and not let their fetishes interfere with the gay rights movement.

Leather daddies were always a tiny gay subculture, like many others.

It's crazy how queer activists love to completely overblow their importance to the gay rights movement.

Like, most normies don't even know leather communities are a thing, much less gay leather communities.

Why are they so obsessed with Pride? Pride had little to do with winning gay rights even in the US and especially here in Europe.

You know what helped get us rights? Being normal people that other people could relate to and sympathize with.

Not being perverts shoving weird fetishes in people's faces and forcing them to be part of it. Remember when consent mattered? Because forcing people to be part of your exhibistionist fetish is a violation of consent.

Admitting that the assimilationists they despise so much were the ones responsible for gay acceptance would make their heads explode, and we can't have that!

Instead is better to credit tiny, mostly unknown subcultures to the average person with the achievement!

It totaly makes sense!

That post confuses me. I've always seen the word "discourse" used to mean discussion, or hashing something out via discussion. What the hell is meant by "queer discourse needs to die, right now"? When I tried to read more comments in an effort for clarification, I got blocked (a popup required signing up, which ain't gonna happen). Anyone?

They are using that word without regard to the word's actual meaning. TRAs do that with the word "dialogue" too: they say, "We want a dialogue about X," but then that just turns out to be them monologuing at you and getting pissed at you if you don't believe their claims completely and immediately.

Thanks, RC. Yeah, that's what I suspected - a case of "that word does not mean what you think it means". Idiots. 🙄
