Yeah, it's pretty good.

It's an argument I hear over and over again. But logically, it just doesn't follow, yanno? In so many of these cross-cultural examples of pederasty, it seems they lose interest as soon as their targets start maturing and gaining adult features. But that's not how sexual attraction works. I don't know about anyone else, but even as a kid, I was rarely interested in others of my own physical developmental stage(pre-puberty), but instead crushed on teens and full-blown adults.

These arguments would only make sense to someone who has a rather warped view of what being homosexual or bisexual is. I get the feeling that their internal definitions include choice con sentiments like "nihilistic degeneracy", "sexual abuse trauma" and "moral subversion" but never plain "same-sex attraction". I swear though, sometimes I think many libs think similarly too, but they just react to it differently. Like, "have compassion/empathy for the freaks; They're deconstructing our repressive social norms" or something dumb like that.

Sorry for the rant.

EXACTLY. I have become so much more suspicious of self-proclaimed liberal "allies"; I do think a significant number of them probably think like this. It's incredibly condescending, to say the least.
