Well of course. Again I have see tons of trad cons on twitter many of them even borderline if not proud nazis. Online discourse still is a tiny % of what people truly believe.

To me stats like Republican Gay marriage acceptance are not indicating a massive surge against those rights. Maybe it's just enemy of my enemy is my friend. Still to me that stat is what is indicative of how people feel about gay marriage as a social issue. Over half of conservatives don't care anymore.

Slippery slope is just kinda well we gave x rights now the platform that championed those rights now wants x. Basically you give them a little they take everything. I wouldn't say it's entirely incorrect doesn't mean that LGB people don't deserve every right straight couples have but most of these movements have been hijacked to keep promoting more and more social issues so they can justify their existence. That is why in NA at least trans rights started to really pick up after gay marriage was legalized. Way too many people see homosexual attraction as a way to basically be inherently subversive to society. I mean it had to be for a time but it also means you get roped into other causes by many of the organizers as well.

Ultimately it is important that people who have same sex attraction due at least make their voices heard so that we aren't treated like a hive mind. You don't need to let bloated corrupt organizations speak for you.
