I've been avoiding mainstream media and news as much as I can, since there's literally nothing I can do about the war battle and it does no one any good for me to focus on it.

I've been looking back through recipes - written and YouTube, old favorites and new - and tried out something I saved and now I think it will be my go-to for a few days of eatin'.

For me, the dough was too thin the first time I tried this. The innards poked through and made a mess as it cooked. But also I like a little bit of chewiness in my dough. I tried again, and split into half of what he did. Less portions, but that worked out way better for me.

Also, the thicker dough means you can just wrap up extras in the fridge, and fry or even bake them up later. I wrapped them in foil to preserve, and put one in the oven to warm up and broil a tiny bit once I was hungry. Just a few minutes with broiling and flipping, and it was awesome.

lonelytbh

But it's okay. I took the plunge and cut off people who were draining me. That just happened to be all but two, but I did something which distanced myself from them too. But not fully. Since lockdown has been lifted here, I need to take the initiative to socialise with others. Maybe join a club, since work is my one and only commitment right now, and the only time I go outside is to go and buy groceries.

I'm used to cutting people off and being alone, so I'm not sure if I've gotten used to the feeling of loneliness and I'm just not registering it, or if I'm more worried about being lonely with no one to rely on in the future. Whatever the future looks like.
