Takei is similar to other older pro-trans gay men I know: hanging on to every trend in a desperate attempt to remain relevant. And I say that as someone in his fifties. I'm well aware that I'm not on the same page as those who consider themselves young and hip.

And I don't hate anyone. But I would rather see people get treatment that actually helps them with their psychological problems.

I’m 26 years old and I respect the elders. But I hate it when older people try to act radical and hype in an effort to pander to youths, because it’s just not sincere. People should embrace the stage of their lives they’re at and do whatever is natural for them. But I don’t think Takei is pandering to LGBT youth. I think he’s just bitter and resentful. And like a lot of celebrities, George Takei is out of touch with reality.

We're the same age. Weirdly I always imagine you as 50 years old well maybe not that old but older than that, you're so mature sounding.

For a second I thought you were responding to JulienMayfair and was like "Damn, I didn't think Elvira was 50."
