I’m gay but homophobic now

She's only one of these things and gay isn't it.

I am entirely incapable of comprehending how these people are able to have such cognitive dissonance that they think their legitimate thoughts and actions are overruled because they identify as a thing. "I know I said to kill all <slur>, but I identify as a loving and accepting person, so I couldn't possibly have said anything wrong"

I just cannot think of a thought train that could ever lead to the conclusions that these people do. It's not possible for anyone without serious logical deficits to manage this

Abandon hope, all ye who enter!

Also, the reactions to her tweet are already shaping up pretty well:

Don't let your mouth write checks that your ass can't cash.

Awww, I love it when people throw out the "Woe is me, and on my Birthday Day too!" passive aggressive retort.

Call people names? Check

Act like a badbutt? Check.

Act like a big baby when people don't like the above? Checkmate idiot!

Looks like account was suspended. Wonder what it was? We know twitter doesn't care about gay men being called fags

Recent conversation with a friend:

Me: "I used to like him until I was exposed to the last 2 years of his FB rants."

Friend's response:

Wonder how many people say,I used to like him until I was exposed to the last 2 years of his FB rants. How much "human connection" damage has been done over the past few years?

From personal experience I can genuinely say there are people I know for a fact I would have liked and been friends with pre-social media, that after seeing their social media posts, I want nothing to do with. Even real life interaction is colored by social media obnoxiousness I can't get past.

About a year ago I decided to delete all of my social media and I am healthier and happier for it.

I'd be happy to see Twitter disappear forever.
