I've seen people on this sub defend it. I had a topic about age gaps in homosexual relationships and mentioned how everyone seems to ignore uncomfortable age gaps in homosexual relationships, using Call Me By Your Name as an example, and quite a few people said it was okay.

Then the same people are like "I wonder why some people/societies are homophobic. I can't come up with any reasons."

I saw that!! I was kind of amazed, too.

I do remember a couple people defending it because the age of consent laws were way lower in their country/province/state/whatever. But I don't think that's okay, either.
