People exist other then heterosexual men.

And violence exists in forms other than groping, like a good old fashioned gay bash.

So you're saying that people other than heterosexual men are engaging in violence towards transwomen? Such as gay bashing? Who ARE these people, then? Heterosexual women? Bisexual women? Homosexual women? Bisexual men? Homosexual men? How likely is it that men who are themselves same-sex-attracted will beat a man up for ostensibly being... same-sex-attracted? Which leads me to my next point:

If a trans woman goes out in a slutty outfit, I think we can BOTH agree she is risking more than "nothing".

Not really. If he's risking anything, it's outrage for violating the male gender role... and this would be just as true if he wore an outfit that was the very antithesis of "slutty" (i.e., in good taste, classy, and "ladylike"). Because the problem here isn't "sluttiness"; it's that he's emulating his "inferiors" (women). Which makes HIM an inferior man. Thus weak, contemptible, and probably gay (according to gender rules, the latter results from the former). That's a very different dynamic than the one women face if they're perceived as "slutty".

The irony is that, if this man ever were gay-bashed, it would be as a result of gender... the very thing that "trans" people such as himself are dedicated to promoting.

Absolutely! If I had a dollar for every time I've been sexually assaulted by a straight woman at a gay bar, I'd have 4 dollars.

Transwomen's complaints are never about being subjected to sexual attention from women, though; quite the opposite-- what they complain about, incessantly, is the LACK of sexual attention from women, lesbians in particular. That women aren't interested in dating them, or sleeping with them; that women don't want anything to do with them sexually. Which transwomen are NOT accepting of, to put it mildly. Because they don't just complain about it ad nauseum; they make demands... and even threats. "Choke on my girldick, TERF!!!" Someone's being rapey here, all right... but it sure isn't women.

Also...ya know... Bisexuals.

Well, yeah, I do know bisexuals, what with being one and all. What about us? Is this some indication that you think we're out ravaging the countryside or something?

So you're saying she's risking her own wellbeing because other people are fragile.

Oh, so OTHER people are fragile? That's pretty rich, coming from the trans side, where inability to deal with reality and threats of suicide are the order of the day.

Here's what I'm saying: he's risking his wellbeing by buying into transgenderism, because it champions gender. The basis for misogyny, homophobia, and biphobia. Consequently, he's also putting at risk the wellbeing of women/girls, same-sex-attracted people, and straight men/boys who are perceived as insufficiently "masculine".

It may end up biting him in the ass. What really worries me, though, is that he--and people like him-- are pushing an ideology that will end up biting EVERYONE in the ass. Particularly those of us who were the most oppressed by gender to begin with.

Not the topic of discussion. I'm simply stating that trans women do in fact face violence and harassment from people.

And I'm simply stating that whatever violence and harassment they face is very much the exception. The rule is for transwomen to be treated with extreme deference, and indeed, for other people to face violence and harassment from THEM, which almost invariably goes unpunished. Cuz transwomen are soooo oppressed, dontchaknow. By all the violence and harassment of, like, being misgendered! And not having everyone kowtow to their pronouns 100% of the time! And finding them unattractive! I mean, you KNOW a group is being persecuted relentlessly when the main thing they're concerned about is... whether you'd date them.

Some bisexuals are rapists and abusers, and their potential victims include trans men and women.

And many more transmen and transwomen are rapists and abusers-- given their freely-expressed sense of entitlement to "cis" people's bodies-- and their potential victims include bisexuals.

Yes.

If these other people are fragile, what does that make people who can't handle basic reality, insist on being shielded from it by the world at large, and threaten suicide/physical violence when anyone refuses to go along?
