Oh my god that was unbearable. These people are wack. Just, severely neurotic and they love to tell people what to do. Just stifling. We don't have to worry about them taking over the world though, these are delicate flowers who'd fall apart if you said BOO to them, lol.

So the DSA had a massive national recruitment drive after the 2016 election and I tried to join. I had been reading Jacobin and wanted to agitate for unions.

I showed up and it was a bunch of middle-aged teachers, all white, who seemed mostly interested in teacher's pensions and animal rights. I stopped going.

I remember they squirmed when I mentioned the dues were high and I'd need a payment plan 😄

Not technically relevant, but I appreciate seeing this. All that stuff is clearly not for disabled people. They're just virtue signaling. I wonder what the actual topics they were discussing were.
