This is version of sexuality that these girls were taught. Who taught this to them?

Yaoi

That's more indirect than I was going for. Why are they so influenced by yaoi? It's the environment they're being raised in that's fucking them up, yaoi is just the particular path they go down.

Yes. Those girls learn that sexuality for them is highly regulated as in when they should have sex and with whom and how. They read those stories and outsource their desires / try to live through those characters, because they are free to love and fuck in the end without someone being able to stop or police them.

And after a while they think as girls / women they cannot experience sex in peace without being seen as easy / whores / dumb. So they try for freedom through transition.

Ultimately it’s deeply rooted misogyny. In their minds women cannot compare so they try to sacrifice their womanhood to be seen and treated as people. Guys wanting to touch their breasts shatters the illusion and they get catapulted into the lesser person they think they are.

Yes! You put that so much more elegantly than I can. These girls are expressing self-disgust that they're being taught at home and school. They mostly aren't from religious backgrounds either. This is a disease of wealthy progressive suburbanites.

I don't agree because then you argue AGP which is even more notable is rooted in deep seed misandry. It's pretty simple they are attracted to guys and therefore gay guys are especially attractive because it's two things they like but unlike most people they start to vicariously live it in order to satiate their desire.

Sure there are people that I have seen that are repressed in any many of those communities but especially of people my age in their early/mid 20s this idea of women being easy doesn't seem to be the main motivator and really it just comes to idealization and over indulgence in fantasy which probably is becoming more common as people become less and less social but also are spending more time on say media due to it's ease of access. Social media especially allows you to portray the ideal image of oneself. They don't hate their sexuality as much as they want to be the hot bishonen they wish they could be with. It's literally no different than AGP. If anything they have more insecurities going down that path then as a straight women because deep down I think many know they can't achieve what they idealize true for most people into things like that.

AGP is a separate issue. Yes, they are also rooted in misogyny, but unlike self-hating women they are also ruled by their fetishes. Which you are describing. I don’t know if AAP exists, it might, but it isn’t as common if common at all. Yes, those girls are lusting after “gay” relationships with gay men, but also not actual gay men as they cannot relate. I found it funny, when someone described the yaoi scene getting to see an actual gay encounter by people they shipped and being unable to cope, as men behaved very differently from the straight woman for straight woman written yaoi suggested.

And I agree they have a lot of insecurities.

There's no evidence to conclude anything about the prevalence of AAP right now, unfortunately. The main reason why sex researchers never investigated it is because many/most of them believe(d) that women are too "saintly" to have fetishes, just that men do. Benevolent sexism, basically.

Agree.

I would like the whole trans, AGP, AAP, ROGD to be properly investigated and subjected to the scientific method it would help so many people as result.

I still think you are making a presumption they are self hating when I don't really see that often especially when you apply that exclusively to women (honestly quite a few AGPs are self hating). Even for those that do it's more just frustrations with naturally occurring things like wishing they didn't have to get periods even still that isn't the primary reason for wanting to live out the fantasy. People don't fit neatly into a box and in my experience in those communities a vast majority just want to act out fantasies they have in their head which isn't much different than many AGP communities. Even for AGP it isn't a neat box either for why people get into said things. It's not all down to devaluing women.

If even misogyny didn't exist in the world these women would still be obsessed with it as long as their imagination and sexual desire existed. If anything a good portion of the shame they actually feel is being the fujo girl and feeling they are fetishizing gay men which is why you have so many FTM that actually get pretty self righteous about "straight women" being into gay male fantasies or creating yaoi.
