I’m a notorious book juggler and am bouncing back and forth between The Elimination but Rithy Panh and Cancer Ward. The former is written by a survivor of the Khmer Rouge. So, it’s a difficult read but quite interesting.

Ohh, I’ve heard a lot of good things about Unorthodox. I’ll have to check it out if you’re recommending it now!

I like your taste in books. I need to read Cancer Ward again. I read it over a decade ago and I can barely remember it though I know I enjoyed it. But my mindset is so different now that I think it would have an even stronger impact.

It’s always interesting to revisit the books we enjoyed before. I reread The Elegance of the Hedgehog for the first time last year and found myself smiling at the things I’d underlined a decade before.
