I’m curious how they’ve arrived at the conclusion that something could be gayer than an actual gay relationship. It’s like stating that something is more sugary than sugar, more diamond-like than diamonds, or more Austrian than actual Austrian people.

It's all just stereotypes, of course. Maybe they like theater, Lady Gaga, and going to pride together.

I have a "not like other girls" "queer" friend who is just a straight woman who says she's bi on Facebook, goes to pride, and did drag twice. She only dates and desires men, has rainbow tattoos, blue mohawk, etc. If someone saw the two of us they'd say she was the lesbian and not me.

It’s as if people like your friend see being gay or bisexual as a hobby rather than a possession of a natural characteristic.

I mean this does seem to be how 99% of the nb scene views gay things - as subculture instead of an identity.

And nb people wonder why a lot of gay people don’t like them.
