How can any parent in good faith, no less a mother who was likely physically weaker than this man, accurately convey the gravity of what happened without using that language?

That people can’t see the inherent misogyny in requiring female victims of male violence to pretend they were assaulted by their fellow women is beyond me.

While I’m glad you can understand where I’m coming from and that my words resonated with you, it’s a shame that it has to be on this topic. But I do find comfort in finding other people who haven’t lost their minds in this madness.
