There’s a science fiction book called The Power by Naomi Alderman. The premise is that all the women of the world wake up one morning to find they can generate electricity with their hands and, consequently, have more physical power than men. Women end up taking over and the world is just as fucked up. I really think this is probably the best idea of what would happen if we were in charge—the same garbage, just different packaging.

So, yeah. I think we’d still see the same amount of homophobia if women ran things.

Loved that one. Especially the frame story, where it's a man tentatively presenting the narrative to his female editor, who laughs it off because 'who's ever heard of a story where men are strong and in charge???'
