I'm not sure you people understand how many times they've done this. Someone needs to collect pics of these things for a separate category: erasing homosexuality <-- which now, in some spaces theyre desperately trying to feign outrage to create a stigma around it. Collect pics like that person did for gays and lesbians being attacked in that long link showing infinite tweets threatening death and calling gays f*ggots for not sleeping with them.

First they say this rarely happens, next they say you're a lunatic or conspiratorial and then when it's too late then they tell you to stop being a bigot and when you have no power left on the issue, you can be dismissed as crazy and told to shut up.

Here are examples i've seen of this and it's always under the pretense of DEEPY CARING for homosexuals/gays/lesbians. Step 1. PLEASE, i BEG YOU! Im an ally to gays and lesbians and I KNOW, I TRULY KNOW they would HATE for you to even acknowledge the term homosexual! <-- ok, so you think this is just one tweet or multiple on twitter with no consequences...but guess what, in some software and some grammar courses, the computer now highlights the word "homosexual" as offensive and you dont think its suspicious that transexuals are the ones raving about this?

  1. Stage 2. No longer just tweets and moving on from "homosexual", now it's gay and lesbian thats DEEPLY offensive. And you think it's just one tweet or 2? Again, the very essence of transexuality is conversion theraphy and they see the homosexual movement as a stepping stone to use for THEIR agenda. They now have seminars "discussing" why the term gay and lesbian isnt all encompassing, that it's "gatekeeping" and "highly inaccurate" and it's too "cis" for them since these are historical terms meaning a symbol, link and inheritance from the gays and lesbians of the past to the gays and lesbians of now. And the new sasquatches want to claim that history for their worthless legitimacy. Again, not tweets but SEMINARS and CONFERENCES.

Stop whining about these people and start creating our own rhetoric. Transexualism is conversion theraphy. And honestly, start activating homophobia. We know these fuckers cant take it. Just throw anything and everything at them. The gay and lesbian activsts that let everyone in are just so fucking pathetic. Broken, pathetic stooges. Now we have asexual narcissist straight girls lecturing gay/lesbian children on how they need to "know their place" because gays/lesbians arent doing enough for bored asexual straight girls.

Hi! I see you're new, welcome to the sub!

Someone needs to collect pics of these things for a separate category: erasing homosexuality

We are actually doing this already! When you post, you can add a "flair" that is essentially a tag describing the post's content. We have a flair (color is black) called "LGB erasure". If you scroll to the top of this page to the search bar and type in "LGB erasure" and check the box saying "limit my search to s/LGBdroptheT", you will find a bunch of these posts! There are other categories you can search by, for example, "Violence", "Targeting/Harassment", etc.

but guess what, in some software and some grammar courses, the computer now highlights the word "homosexual" as offensive and you dont think its suspicious that transexuals are the ones raving about this?

Oh, we know, believe me. Somebody posted just the other day about how Youtube now censors the word "homosexual". It's absolutely fucked up. I'll link the post. edit: https://saidit.net/s/LGBDropTheT/comments/7jlv/youtube_added_word_homosexual_to_profanity_filter/

Stop whining about these people and start creating our own rhetoric.

We do, actually, have pretty different rhetoric on this sub than the rhetoric used by transgender ideology believers. I think we can always improve, though, so if you have specific suggestions, would love to hear them.

The gay and lesbian activsts that let everyone in are just so fucking pathetic

I think it's unfair to suggest that gay and lesbian activists are to blame for the damage that the transgender movement is doing to the LGB community. One, transgender ideology believers are the perpetrators and are culpable for their own harmful actions. Two, there were a lot of LGB activists who raised concerns about transgender ideology earlier on but were effectively silenced. So-called "LGBTQ+" organizations are actually run by and for the T, not any other letters in the alphabet soup.

edit: Here's a post about 6 repositories, or lists, of documented homophobic incidents/threats: https://saidit.net/s/LGBDropTheT/comments/5x6k/trans_people_and_trans_rights_activists_being/

"LBGTQRS@&#&#233" organizations were EXCLUSIVELY run by gays and lesbians because they were seen as worthless until the homosexual community started becoming successful, and THEN every other letter came in and it was mostly gay and lesbian stooges that let them in and silenced all the other gays/lesbians. We thought we could walk away from the gay community, and to the gays/lesbians on here...dont lie. So many of you are those "not like the other gays" and everyone went through that phase where we thought we could ignore the gay community...well, apparently we're linked to it and its a part of our survival whether we like it or not. It's not the night clubs or the stupid bars, it's the political, legal, charity, lobbying institutions that we had to create and run and i guess when we welcome every single person in them like idiots, we forget they have their own agendas. the TRA's arent some super charged ultra powerful people. They dont run all these organizations because they kicked gay/lesbian asses. They run these organizations because...well, just imagine a stooge. A stooge with a permanent smiling face who thinks we won our civil rights by smiling...and he/she just smiles at everyone and when a bunch of transexuals show up to take over the organization, well...just smiles and then wonders why theyre backstabbing every gay/lesbian person within these organizations. And we forgot how important these institutions were because apparently we didnt appreciate the power of these institutions since theyre used to harm other gays and lesbians and give legitimacy to 600 other sexualities since everyone is a victim now.

Lmao, speak for yourself. I'm apparently in Gen Z by age, and I wasn't there for whatever you're describing. Do you have any sources to back up your claims, or is this all just your opinion? I would love to have some more context on the takeover of these organizations; if you have any news articles or something, I'd be curious to see.

[–]exponent2 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

you're kidding me. Every single Gay and Lesbian organization was run by....lesbians. These transexuals are a new thing. Did you honestly forget that it was the gay and lesbian community...and THEN all the other letters were INVITED in?

[–]reluctant_commenter 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

you're kidding me

No, I am legitimately interested in learning more. Do you have any sources? Or have suggestions for where I might read or learn more about this? If not, no worries, I was just curious.

Did you honestly forget that it was the gay and lesbian community...and THEN all the other letters were INVITED in?

I never said otherwise, what I'm saying is, you're describing a very specific narrative of how things happened. I'm asking for more information because anyone can say X happened but without more informative sources, I have to consider what people say as just anecdotal and not confirmed to be generally true.

edit: Also, I've heard 3-4 older users here talk about how the T took over "LGBTQ+" organizations from the inside, even though many lesbians and gay men tried to stop it from happening. If they are actually wrong, I'd like to hear about it! But I really have no firsthand experience of this stuff myself, since I am relatively younger.

I mean it is the truth though. Yes there are gays and more so lesbians who said no, but there are so many LGBs who said “what is the harm?” Part of the issue is that the purpose of gay rights orgs changed and stopped focusing on gay rights even before we got important things like employment discrimination protections in the U.S.. They acted like the fight was over and assumed that greater numbers of members and allies was a better thing for our rights, and that’s not crazy in and of itself. But yes, they failed to realize that people who are not same-sex attracted, even if purported allies, have their own agenda. People have kept on saying “what’s the harm?” as the harm becomes increasingly obvious and simultaneously as we have less and less space to talk about it. These organizations are no longer about same sex rights or run by people who are primarily motivated by obtaining that, but by power hungry ideologues who desire societal control, and maybe even a little bit of revenge. While many of LGB people who wanted basic gay rights have retired from activism to live quiet lives. But this power-hungry group that remained in activism (from Millennials and older) absolutely includes actual LGB people who may or may not realize they’re stooges. And definitely have a lot of cognitive dissonance or self interest that outweighs their interest in same sex rights (your Benjamin of Pink News types).

Yes, there was a genderjacking that was largely accomplished by outside money but this could not have been accomplished by LGB people who let that happen and threw the LGB people who said “no” under the bus. That’s why even Stonewall UK right now is run by a purported lesbian even though she has entirely converted the organization to focus on gender ideology which the previous leadership was not keen on. LGB like this are TRAs themselves and they give cover to this. I don’t know what it could be about other than power and societal control and a total reworking of the fundamentals of basic structural social institutions, something gay rights orgs never really sought to accomplish.

A huge part of this was conversion of LGBT and its infrastructure from a political interest alliance focused specifically on same sex rights to a purported social club for “gender, romantic, and sexual minorities” (GRSM). Now you get in by technical membership and un falsifiable “identity”. And as you know, I’m not here to denigrate bisexuals, but the ones who have zero interest in same sex relationships but still complain about visibility and being in “straight-passing relationships” are a large part of this problem, and legitimize it. Not the kind of bisexual participants we have in here but this kind of thinking based on bored, manufactured oppression, set the pattern for the takeover IMO. Not saying bisexual people have to be in a homosexual relationship to count, just that those who have no interest in them, do not take them seriously, and do not see how gay people are not similarly situated in this respect are the type of people who the former gay rights organizations have been encouraging to drown out the rest of us and dilute our interests.

thank you for your very well thought out comment. I think another factor was that we always assumed that the word "gay" and "lesbian" were still kryptonite and everyone was homophobic to their very DNA that no matter how much they accepted us, they would always give us our little magical narnia spaces where only gays and lebsians would go and we would ever have to protect these places because they were considered radioactive to everyone else. I dont think gays and lesbians from the past could even conceive of the hell of multiple different sexualities fighting over the word gay and lesbian, appropriating our flag...sexualities or anything of the sort. It wouldnt even occur within their minds that anyone would even want to associate with us because they never thought heterosexuals would fully see us as normal human beings. So when the stigma of being homosexual was slowly diminished, we didnt understand that the bisexuals who would just experiment with us suddenly wanted to appropriate "our things" and want their own agenda...which was "we're sorry we're tainted with the gay but we want to live openly as bisexuals in straight marriages but still be seen as normal". Which, i understand but it doesnt really seem like a real priority for gays and lesbians. Their entire movement seems to be "i want to be in a heterosexual marriage but for everyone to know i have a same sex attraction and want no stigma attached to this". Gays/Lesbians are "stuck" on homosexual and its their entire humanity at stake...and whats at stake for bisexuals seem to be indulging their same sex attraction every once in a while as i see it.

Sorry. I just have this tendency to assume everyone is around my age which is pretty stupid. I never bothered to look up resources. It's just the news articles i would read on the internet everytime a gay rights organization had to fight dehumanization against the catholic church, especially during the gay rights debate. And this is what i was worried about. I mean, talking to you is pretty shocking, like we're in some sort of anime where i speak of "the before times". No one really said it because it seemed too crazy to happen but gays and lesbians considered a possibility that gay children might grow up without having a sense of entitlement to their own community and all the other letters were just guests there. When you have heterosexual girl children on the internet now "lecturing" gays/lesbians and trying to "put them in their place", we just dismissed them as psychotic and crazy exceptions. But i just recoil in disgust thinking younger gays/lesbians dont feel a sense of entitlement to their own community which is bequeathed to them by older generations. We donate money, sacrifice some of our social leverage to make sure gay/lesbian people who are younger dont have to suffer the indignity of having to bow down to homophobia and smile. Our "revenge" was the success of younger gay kids.

When you speak to me...as if you're speaking of "the before times"...thats just completely normal to us. So to ask for documentation is weird since it was just everyday news and it's too awkward for books or documentaries to mention: "it's us and always has been us and everyone else is a shitty little guest". Just watch documentaries on gay rights. And this isnt even from long ago. we're not talking about the 1970's but the year 2010.

Most of the other letter's movements have to to exaggerate their involvement in gay/lesbian history and mostly just flat out lie, especially on tumblr and why? To legitimize themselves and then pretend they were there all along when they werent or were so insignificant and useless they were most likely a burden, like that homeless crackhead marsha p johnson. or honestly, brenda howard. Bisexual activists just made that up: "she created pride! it was her!"....like, what in the fuck of christ? She invited gays and lesbians worldwide to go on their marches to have things thrown at them, to lose their jobs or sacrifice their dignity by enduring the humiliation of homophobia...she invited them to their own pride marches? lol do you know how little sense that makes? It's as ridiculous as saying the janitor who sweeps the floors helped Einstein discover that e=mc2 because without clean floors, einstein could never do his work so the janitor helped. I mean, the level of pettiness and desperation shows how they know they did nothing when you point to one person with one incredibly stupid thing thats beyond useless and basically a lie. The historical revisionism should be a tell for you.

And as for the trans thing, they didnt "take over". Gays and lesbians pushed themselves out like idiots because of "intersectional oppression". Whomever makes up the worst victim story gets the most attention which was beyond fucking stupid because it meant we're not a community, we're just a pit stop for everyone to extract resources from us.

Sorry. I just have this tendency to assume everyone is around my age which is pretty stupid.

That's all right. :) The generational differences in experience among LGB people are pretty fascinating, sometimes it makes communication more difficult but it's the internet, easy to misunderstand people anyway.

It's just the news articles i would read on the internet everytime a gay rights organization had to fight dehumanization against the catholic church, especially during the gay rights debate.

Funny you mention the Catholic church. I grew up in a family that was Catholic, quite homophobic (although not as bad as some accounts I've read), and they did speak in a dehumanizing way about being same-sex-attracted. But see, I am trying to work through all that crap on my own, but whenever I have tried to talk to "LGBTQ+" people my age, they seem to think that that kind of homophobia is eradicated and not a problem anymore, and that we're in some kind of post-homophobia world. Lol.

I mean, talking to you is pretty shocking, like we're in some sort of anime where i speak of "the before times".

I bet. Even to me, this whole situation we're in right now with transgender ideology feels insane.

Gotcha, that makes sense. I can understand how people might have been focused so much on more openly "hostile" forms of homophobia (e.g. from the Catholic church) that they never considered what might happen afterwards. I mean, homophobia didn't disappear just because gay marriage was legalized. Even though most of my "progressive" acquaintance seem to believe otherwise, lol.

We donate money, sacrifice some of our social leverage to make sure gay/lesbian people who are younger dont have to suffer the indignity of having to bow down to homophobia and smile. Our "revenge" was the success of younger gay kids.

That makes perfect sense, and I appreciate that. Unfortunately I do think that my generation may have to do this too, the same as yours has-- thanks to transgender ideology. My mentality and attitude is: many straight people are wary of "LGBTQ+" people, often because of aggressive pronoun policing and character assassinations encouraged by activists in the transgender movement, so in real life, I have to be the best ambassador for my community that I can be. Wear that smile, make it clear that I'm not going to jump down people's throats for asking "politically incorrect questions" or for having issues with the "LGBTQ+" community, and that I just want to be treated equally.

Just watch documentaries on gay rights. And this isnt even from long ago. we're not talking about the 1970's but the year 2010.

Will take a look, thanks.

That's really interesting you mention the "intersectionality" stuff as being a cause. I have heard of a similar parallel of frustration with intersectionality when it comes to racial discrimination, as well. I know you said you didn't have news articles, but I'll keep an eye out for that theme.

Thanks for taking the time to talk. You've gotta understand lol, I realized my same-sex attraction among a group of far-left people who all call each other "queer" and believe that sexual orientation is a choice (a moral choice where "queer" is the best answer)-- these are teens and 20 year olds I'm talking, this is literally what almost all my acquaintance who are my age, believe. I have met way more trans people than I ever have LGB people. It sucks.
