I honestly think we're so crazy, naive and stupid we genuinely thought heterosexuals would carry on the momentum of our civil rights movement for us because...why not. We didnt really understand that they werent our mothers and fathers..they were our allies and werent going to carry our rocks for us. They were just there to make sure no one purposefully knocked them out of our hands. We're liberal idiots. When we thought it was "over", we subconsciously meant that everyone else..who had their own agendas, their own lives, their own struggles...THEY would carry on our work for us. Thats a type of liberal arrogance that i see around the world. It's similar to when scandinavian countries invited a flood of muslim immigrants into their nations and then just assumed because "why wouldnt they want to be like us..we're right and theyre wrong"...they didnt understand that these muslim immigrants were there to TEACH the scandinavians how lost they are and god obviously orchestrated all of this to help transform their country. Gays/Lesbians can be so...liberal. I am too but i can see why conservatives sometimes despise us.

And i think the number one thing was, we could NEVER imagine anyone wanting to associate with us. That we were our own secret magical narnia community and everyone was secretly so homophobic to the core that they would always leave us alone. Theyre still homophobic but now willing to openly wear the "gay" label which we thought was a good thing but had no idea it meant trying to transform our very identities.
