It's just so fucking depressing, knowing so many of these men will get older, and they they'll realize that all the surgery in the world won't change the fact that they will still AGE like men, too. They won't realize that they can never be women until they're too far into it to change it, and then they just become a statistic.

You'd think a disassociative mental illness with a high suicide rate should be TREATED and not catered to...because obviously feeding into the delusion and allowing it to grow could only have super positive results, right?

We shit a lot on TRAs in this sub but these people are in need of help. The majority of those trans people on the frontpage are explicitly showing signs of male pattern baldness. No amount of bangs is going to save you from that, I'm sorry. No wonder these people are so pissy about nobody wanting to date/fuck them. Everyone and their mother is lying through their teeth about how gorgeous and valid these trans people are.

Seeing this sort of shit is really saddening. These people are hurting and pretending that this person is a strong beautiful empowered woman isn't helping.

He looks better with the make up and the cleaned up eyebrows, that's for sure. I wish it was normalized to just let men make themselves pretty, (or at least less ugly?) if that's what they want. Like, I don't even understand why women are allowed to make their skin look perfect through makeup but men aren't? Same with eyebrows. In many cultures it's normal for men to get their brows cleaned up in the barbershop, it's part of the package. But in America, people will literally freak the fuck out. People got so nasty and confused when they saw the guys from Jersey Shore get their eyebrows cleaned up.

Anyway that had nothing to do with what you were saying, sorry. You're right, gaslighting these people and telling them they are gorgeous women is cruel.

Regarding that picture, I'm sure the person on the left has faced a lot of rejection and regarded themselves as a failed man. Nobody is allowed to tell the person on the left that they're not a stunning and brave woman, and if that person is told no, its because TrAnsPhObiA. The logic of their 'transition' makes sense to me, but it's so blatantly maladjusted, as well as harmful to everyone around them. Can you imagine being that person's female coworkers, or kids?

I imagine this isn't a controversial opinion on this sub but if you have, especially non-adult children, you are selfish if you want to transition. If you want to be some single 40-something trans person with no partner and no children, whatever. But the moment kids, either your own children or child transitioning gets brought up is when this libertarian attitude can no longer fly.

Just last week, I saw a few posts/comments by men saying that they feel bad about being men because of how "hateful" women are on the sub... and that is the beginning of the cis-to-trans pipeline. Men, who are so obsessed with women that they read angry women's rants about men, want to become women so they won't feel hated. But instead of internalizing what they read, they should criticize themselves and other men for pissing women off... and then change how they behave, not how they look. But no, they'd rather opt out of being men instead of not being misogynistic. Smh

    This is a new level of scary. Seriously out of the top 10 posts, 8 are from men wearing womanface, talking about wearing womanface. One is about solidarity to trans people because they got fired for being the pronoun police. Only one is actually about women (the gap between men and women in academia).

    A little further down there's a post talking about c-sections and the misogyny behind expecting women to be up and at it immediately after having one. How long do y'all think it'll be before discussions about pregnancy, periods, etc are gonna be banned from that sub because that talk isn't 'inclusive'?

    The sub was not like that last week. As I said earlier, this is likely related to International Women's Day... these men want to grab some attention, validation and upvotes instead of celebrating women this week.

    Most likely yeah. A friend and I were discussing not too long ago that transwomen would be clamoring all over women's history month, esp women's day. Every year it gets worse. Less recognition for actual women and an additional 20+ trans days of remembrance/visibility/whatever the fuck.

    Part of that process is not bringing up genital preferences every time you discuss trans people. I cannot tell you how tired I am about having discussions about transphobia and trans rights turned into discussions of who exactly would/wouldn't have sex with which trans people.

    Trans people behave so fucking disingenuously. The entire reason your genitals get discussed is because you won't shut up about how stunning and brave your "girldicks" are and how it is literal genocide for lesbians not to want to fuck men with personal identity complexes.
