This is SO disturbing!! I worry every day for my kiddo, whether he’ll one day fall prey to these predators. It gives me a lot of hope, though, to hear from ASD people like you who are thoughtful and aware of how much the ASD community is targeted by these people. It’s very helpful for parents like me who are trying to guide ASD children to be careful and guard themselves against these influences.

The best thing you can do is to be vigilant, talk to your kid, and if you notice that they start talking about those things, or their school starts to push something forward, you explain things as logically as you can. Your child will understand something that makes logical sense (reality) rather than a nebulous ideology that isn't quantifiable in any shape or form.
