Stereotypes about LGB people and same-sex attraction-- created to silence us, and then shoved down the throats of straight people in the general population, who then grow to resent and blame us. It is disturbing to watch, and dismaying to know that our group will probably be blamed for it, after "Queer Theorists" use us as a battering ram for their political goals.

Saw a TikTok video on Instagram of a homophobic "Karen" using queer as a slur... and I was thinking to myself: see, this is why queer is a homophobic slur to me. The video was filmed in Florida.

You know what I think is seriously disturbing? I have a special-needs kiddo and the child’s finger movements and voice strongly suggest he’s on the autism spectrum, which would make this even more heartbreaking.

I was going to add this as well. I've got ASD and have been finding it increasingly disturbing how many people are promoting this woke ideology to their autistic kids, knowing full well that they will take it face value and not question it, even more so than neurotypical children.

What will happen if this child decides trans is their special interest? Will the parents recognise it as an interest, or will they assume the child actually is trans and ruin his life? Gender non-conformity is perfectly normal for autistic children/adults (lack of awareness of gender-based social expectations, sensory issues involving some gender-based clothing), but somehow everyone thinks it automatically means trans.

This is SO disturbing!! I worry every day for my kiddo, whether he’ll one day fall prey to these predators. It gives me a lot of hope, though, to hear from ASD people like you who are thoughtful and aware of how much the ASD community is targeted by these people. It’s very helpful for parents like me who are trying to guide ASD children to be careful and guard themselves against these influences.

The best thing you can do is to be vigilant, talk to your kid, and if you notice that they start talking about those things, or their school starts to push something forward, you explain things as logically as you can. Your child will understand something that makes logical sense (reality) rather than a nebulous ideology that isn't quantifiable in any shape or form.
