"Rainbow community" yeah it's just for trans people now. Hope this guy doesn't lose his job. Then again, getting more lawsuits going would help us put an end to homophobic trans ideology sooner.

“I've emailed our Executive Manager directly, requesting that this is addressed immediately, and I am moved into a new team as soon as possible,” he wrote

If I were an employer and an employee made a public announcement like this calling another coworker a transphobe before an internal investigation had taken place (or even after, because work stuff is confidential) that employee would be in huge trouble.

There are a lot of pathetic, hypersensitive, overgrown children working at Auckland Transport agency. This seems to be common with most institutions throughout the western world. But New Zealand really is trying to catch up to Canada. Seriously, a grown man is “recovering from shock” over a comment. This is the decadent west we’re living in.

If this is the kind of petty bullshit that reduces their management and administration staff to "shock" then It's no surprise that Auckland's public transport is so fucking garbage.

Still, I hope Rainbow doesn't lose his job. If he does, I hope he fights it tooth and nail. Labour was the worst possible thing for gay rights in this country. They cycle through vulnerable groups to solicit votes more than they actually legislate. They'd enact public lynchings for all homosexuals the moment someone put unverified statistics about the trans vote being more valuable in front of them.

We need to get them out in favor of a government that will spend less time catering to the uwus and more time helping us recover from the fallout of the fucking global pandemic we're still enduring.

Damn straight. There's nothing bigoted about that statement, as it's fact.

Fozzy said trans people are just as vulnerable to conversion therapy as gay people and said he thought Rainbow’s comment was “unnecessary.

Conversion therapy is about turning ssa people into heterosexuals. It only cares about "gender identity" to the extent that it's an indicator of sexuality. That's what these people miss: Gender non-conformity is oppressed mostly because to most people it indicates that the person is homosexual. Gnc oppression cannot be separated from homophobia, and a lot of so-called "transphobia" is just homophobia or misplaced homophobia.

Transition is the new conversion therapy, just a medicalised, usually secular form of it. You cannot protect LGB youth while promoting "gender clinics" and all the medical malpractice they do. It's that simple.
