There is nothing wrong with making changes or reinventing yourself at any age. A secure person is capable of acknowledging that. "I used to do that and be this person but I'm happier with this type of lifestyle" is perfectly reasonable. This melodramatic insistence that trans people were always their target gender reeks of insecurity.

ETA: If a trans woman is ""born a woman"" but contently lives as a man for years, even decades, then what's the point of transitioning? It's clearly optional. These idiots are shooting themselves and every other trans person in the foot and they don't even realize it.

TRAs usually sputter about how experimentation and fluidity should be embraced but this "but I always was" language and their treatment of detrans people tells us exactly what direction this FlUiDiTeE is supposed to go in.

Reeks of AGP. Kristin did a video in 2015 where she talked about how her bf (now husband) only likes fat women. He looks very similar to Kristin in this video and most likely fetishized her to the point of wanting to become a fat woman like Kristin.

That said, Kristin isn't in the clear either. It seems like she wants to feel 'cool' by being in a 'lesbian' relationship with her husband. She keeps calling herself gay despite being attracted to men, and tweeted recently that she wants to find a 'slutty gay crew' to party with at this year's pride parade. Sometimes she comes off like she sees gay people like cool accessories and is jumping at the chance to be a 'cool queer'.

I don't know what Jen's role in all of this is, but I feel so bad for her as a real lesbian watching her straight (maybe bi) friend call herself gay while enjoying sex with a man, and said man decides to name himself after cheese, put on lipstick and a dress, and call himself a lesbian.

I mentioned in a comment above, this is a big part of the reason that I never liked Kristen, she comes off as super fake and is always trying to come off as 'cool' but in reality has just always been obnoxious and loud. I really hope Jen isnt on board the TRA train too but either way I think she'll play the diplomatic game.

Agreed on Kristin. I didn't like her much on ladylike. And I think you're right about Jen. She'll be forced to play along to avoid getting cancelled, I just wonder how long she'll be able to keep it up. Most likely she'll just drop out of the social media spotlight if it gets to be too much, since speaking out against it openly will be too risky.

This is pathetic. Appropriating a false identity for social media prestige. I'm disallusioned at how many people just go along with this charade, and what this means for the future. I think way too many been conditioned to be nice and "supportive" of any so-called "progressive" thing and sacrifice the activity in the skeptical part of their brains on the altar of social harmony.

Buzzfeed people have always been over the top woke trash tbh but even knowing that I never found Kiristen palatable to watch. She's always leaned into the SJW/ woke side from even before the Trans thing really took off and always reminded me of those people who are loud and over eccentric on purpose to cover their insecurities and it just never flowed well with me. I do remember one video years ago how she was excitedly talking about her upcoming wedding, I think the video had to do with body types or something? I wonder how much of this excitement about he now 'wife' is genuine, it all seems so forced.

I cant believe I used to watch this channel a year ago. Stopped after they started posting TWAW stickers everywhere, asking for pronouns each video, and made a huge disclaimer that "Mitochondrial Eve" might not have identified as a woman. Jen is the only actual lesbian, and she's the one that initiates the pronoun games.
