After dealing with a job riddled with extreme liberal and TQ+ politics, I have FINALLY left this job! No more BS but...

I have recently blocked an annoying coworker from contacting me via a VoIP phone# I gave. This coworker is the pansexual one I mentioned before several times. She kept spamming VoIP group chat, originally, I tried to mute but it didn't allow for that feature so I had to block.

Ever since, she's persistent in contacting me.

She texted me in regular text asking if I blocked her. Sent an IM using work program similar to Skype asking did I block her. Then she talked in a work group chat with coworkers I'm "close to" (we game together) and spammed there to see if I'd talk. Then finally she IM me directly again saying "I saw you messaging earlier in (regular work group chat) so I guess you did✌"

This is the same chick who said she was worried when I didn't text her in three days and said she ALMOST came to my place to "check" on me.

Also the same girl who told me "pronouns are NO laughing matter" and lectured me and said "pronouns are SERIOUS because the internet said!!" (Legit, she said something along those words about the internet telling that and that we should put pronouns in our bio)

Also the girl who said "OMG DID YOU EVEN TAKE HIGHSCHOOL BIOLOGY?!" when I didn't know some creepy ass English "kinky" term(she also happens to be a high school drop out...I am college educated but whatever).

Was curious if I should kindly tell her to fuck off or just keep ignoring? Was told by others to just keep it professional and talk minimally because she seems a bit "off".

EDIT: technically have a few days left at shitty job until I go to new one.

Also fun fact: I tried helping her get a job and she LOVED the TQ+ one we're at and doesn't ever want to quit...Told her I will be getting paid much more at another job then she asks me for a job app to it LOL too late!

Yeah, you're right. It's just been crazy for me the past couple of days due to personal stuff happening(partner got assaulted, dealing with a loved one who has an addiction issue, family getting sick and recently heard one got COVID, taking care of everything financially, etc)

So, I guess this woman girl expects me to dedicate my time to her, when I'm focused on more important things in life. I am already stressed and don't need to be more stressed out.

I am just eager to start the new job soon!!

Might just be easier to tough it out if it's only like 3-5 days. I remember you describing this person and her sounding like a quasi-stalker, though... so if she does anything really extreme, please don't hesitate to involve police. Does she know that you want some space / that she's being super aggressive about it?

I'll definitely keep that in mind with the police. She's really more bark than bite, so I'm not super worried. I'm planning on getting security cameras in place and...gearing up. Just recently had an incident happen to my partner and I want our child to be safe too.

I should at this point...I am going to continue to ignore until she has a newer message than "I saw you messaging earlier in (regular work group chat) so I guess you did✌".

Then, if needed, I'll talk to (current) trans male boss to have pansexual coworker to stop bothering me too. Trans male boss used to be a hardass/terrible to work with, but over time, he's gotten to be a lot nicer to me---still full of himself though. Said he did most of the project info wise while I designed, even though I worked on it solo(both info & design) because my crewmates on the project were slackers.

When I got to the "pronouns are SERIOUS! I read it on the Internet" bit, I cannot read that in anything other than Luanne's (from King of the Hill) voice. Good riddance.

I'd say tough it out for your last few days at the job. After if she still keeps on contacting you tell her something like "our friendship has run its course due to our different life/political outlooks. If she still persist just tell her to fuck off, your time is precious, you don't owe her jack shit.

I do wonder if she may be on the ASD spectrum thiugh? People on the spectrum have a tendency of honing in on certain subjects/ people and not being able to let go. Still not your problem though.

I'll be amicable/professional with her for now. I just thought she was being rather excessive and childish. I've decided to ignore her for now unless it's work related, I'll respond.

I haven't talk to another coworker, who I nicknamed Macho via regular texts in a while but we talk via IM for work. He understands the difference between work and home life at least.

She'll probably get butthurt and ask Macho what she did wrong(we were a trio gamer group) but I doubt he'd care to say much, because she pisses him off too.
