How the fuck is a man wearing a dress "appropriation" of trans culture when that's the definition of trans?

This whole thing honestly reminds me of the "drag culture is transphobic!" discourse that took over trans Twitter a few years ago. Now they're trying to claim that drag falls under the trans umbrella, but also men wearing dresses is transphobic. They cannot get their minds together.

That discourse is especially ironic imo because most of their "historical" trans people are drag queens they've transed. Also, they need to get rid of drag queens cause it's extremely inconvenient to their narrative that drag queens have existed longer and are more prevalent than trans people. Also shows gay men can be GNC in the most extreme way, up to and including spending hours looking like a woman (often more successfully than trans people imo), use female pronouns during shows (and get people to voluntarily call them that), and, in some cases, be successful performers. Drag queens just demolish their narrative.

Well, yeah, that's the objective definition; what's going on in reality. But of course that's not the TRANS definition. Quite the reverse. Because in order for their genderist ideology to work... there can't be ANY SUCH THING. "Dress = woman" is required. Otherwise, how can a man signal that he's "really" a woman? And not just... a man in a dress? He can't. So dresses must remain off-limits for men IN GENERAL. At least those without LadyfeelzTM.

Ironic that in donning a dress, Mr. Styles is thereby demonstrating that the Trans-Emperor has no clothes.

Yep. That's it at its core. They're terrified the rest of society will realize "hey, Styles likes to wear dresses but he still says he's a man." I personally am not into men in dresses, but I'd take that any day over "wearing a dress makes you trans."
