On r/LBL, vulnerable, lonely, ignorant, and/or personality-disordered straight and bisexual women are being duped into believing they are lesbians

I seriously don't understand your need to sympathize with/pathologize their behavior. I can say they're dumb, uninspiring women stuck in lame, unsatisfying relationships looking for an excuse to make themselves feel special without putting in any effort or bearing any risks and I'd be no closer to the truth than you.

They're no more lonely or vulnerable than you or I. If anything, they're less so because they don't put themselves out there like we do, and they're usually in romantic relationships.

Why not call a spade a spade and acknowledge them as the stupid, pathetic assholes that they are? Neither of us are mental health professionals and even if we were, we can't diagnose people over the internet. Imo all this mental health "awareness" has unleashed some bullshit.

You’re not wrong. And I don’t have an issue with you saying any of this. I’m being an overanalytical masochist. This truly is a cancerous growth for us all and I’d love to nuke that sub into oblivion. It’s just I’ve been in the morass myself, I’ve consumed the toxic thinking, and I’m just lucky that I’m strong-willed and have a low bullshit tolerance. Unlike them, I was also in a good place in my life when I found myself in there and came out. But my empathy is limited.

Empathy is the ability of person to put themselves in a place of other person, understand their motives and struggles.

That is why really empathetic people are often disgusted from AGP and the likes, and going GC. If you understand their motives, you see their "struggles" - that will make you disgusted from that.
