Every avian and mammalian species on this planet is attracted to sexual partners based on the physical characteristics of their sex. It baffles me that people think one primate species might suddenly be the opposite and be attracted to sexual partners based on entirely subjective, internal feelings.

I love when they always pull out the argument: "o-oh, well, sexual orientation labels are actually voluntary to use, so get lost! people can describe themselves however they want!"

Yup, indeed they are. I, for example, could call myself straight 'till the cows come home. Doesn't the change the fact that I'm not fucking straight lol.

The labels are perhaps voluntary (that's even debatable), but existing in a state which fits the descriptor of 'lesbian', 'gay', or 'bisexual' are not. No one has volunteered to be whatever sexual orientation they are. Stop appropriating and stealing descriptors that describe our body's responses to both males and females when it comes to romantic and sexual attraction.

Like, I don't see how this could be any more obvious.

'Gay' is not a descriptor that transmen can use if they are attracted to males because they are not a male attracted to exclusively other males.

'Lesbian' is not a descriptor that transwomen can use if they are attracted to females because they are not a female attracted to exclusively other females.

Objective reality exists and we use words and descriptors to describe said reality and share our experiences with others in a way that is elaborate and straightforward. Attempting to rewrite these descriptor's definitions to include a variety of other things is not only homophobic, but regressive.

EDIT: Words.

It infuriates me to see people not only spreading misinformation by appropriating and defiling the LGB (TQIA+++++) acronym, but stealing our actual descriptors and flat out lying about what defines them. Straight women calling themselves lesbian and redefining it to fit their sexist ideology of hating stereotypically male behaviors, straight women calling themselves gay men and saying that their anatomy is better suited for sex than real gay men's, let alone all the straight men demanding sex with lesbians or supporting the women that call themselves gay men.

There are 0 lesbians in all of human history that actually are attracted to biological males and 0 gay men in human history that are actually attracted to biological females. These evil subsections of bisexuals and straights need to leave our exclusionary labels the fuck alone and let homosexuals be homosexual

For them being so overly obsessed with making labels that perfectly describe them, I can't understand why they also feel the need to steal and redefine labels that actually accurately apply to a significant number of people. It's like taking over Google's servers just to play minecraft when Walmart has countless laptops no one is using that can also do it
