This is what chaps my ass most about people claiming allowing transwomen to call themselves lesbians and transmen call themselves gay men is “inclusive.” No, it just makes the words gay and lesbian lose meaning and deprives gays and lesbians of language to describe ourselves. It isn’t inclusive. It excludes gays and lesbians from our own sexual orientation.

The whole point of sexuality is the exclusivity, even in bisexuality. If you're not attracted to someone, you can't force yourself to 'check your sexual preferences'. There's no changing orientation.
