This. I’m also convinced trans subs brigade anything critical of trans issues as well as several things tangentially related to trans people. I’d been suspicious ever since my gf and I saw a post about transparent washing machines. One of the top comments was an MTF complaining that they were unfair because they could out closeted trans people to their families. It was such a bizarre comment on its own, but seeing it at the top of something completely unrelated to trans people was exceptionally weird.

However, after the “trans men are valid gay men” post in AGB got upvoted over 10k times, my suspicions were confirmed. That sub has been clear time and time again about where they stand. Such a radical departure from that overnight leaves no doubt in my mind that brigading is happening.

If I had to guess, I’d say it’s a combination of burner accounts and brigades.

transparent washing machines

For the longest time I couldn't parse the word 'transparent'. Trans-parent? Is that someone with a trans child? Or someone who is trans who is themselves a parent? Why are their washing machines so special?

“Come on, boys. I see a word with the prefix ‘trans’ that has nothing to do with trans people. You know what that means.”

But, really, I didn’t even notice that until you pointed it out.
