Because people support LGB and see it as support of "LGBT"

Therefore, when they lie and say that their problems are our problems, it makes things that aren't bad look bad, as though the people making these policies were homophobic

That's exactly why transgender activists back in the 90s very deliberately targeted gay organizations and cemented T to gay rights.

Look through this sub and you'll find posts with interviews with T activists admitting that they used gay rights, gay organizations, gay money to get their T agenda backed by politicians, corporations and the public.

T latching on to LGB anti-discrimination is what held it back for so long - It was close to passing in 2007 and then the Ts latched on last minute and it tanked - Gays were this close to being nationally protected from discrimination.
