I know this is bragging but I'll do it anyway. When I was little I knew I liked both boys and girls, but I was told it isn't possible, girls can't like girls, you're just confused/stupid blah blah. I didn't even know the word 'bisexual' existed. But I was just like whatever, I know I like both boys and girls, and that's just how it is. I just thought I was a special snowflake and no one else in the world was like me, and that was fine. I didn't need anyone's validation to keep existing.

Imagine someone tells you "you being Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual isn't valid" so you just magically stop being LGB, or you drop dead... Or... this happens:

- Hello girls, I am lesbian.

- But do you have penis?

- No. Why should I?

- You aren't lesbian, go away TERF.

(why shortened trans-identified male/female are not allowed, but terf is allowed?)

Good question! I think it has to do that it's used by GC a lot so it's considered ideological (as the rules state) but you could also argue that with TERF.

I agree with you.

Sometimes during a discussion the other party asks me: "wouldn't you be offended too if we told your bisexuality is just a phase?" in order to have a "gotcha!" moment. But, you know what, I would be a little upset, but their disbelief wouldn't change reality and I wouldn't question my sexuality because my attraction is instinctive and genuine and simply happens. Before I knew there was a word for it, I thought I was a straight girl able to be attracted to girls too.

Words can be manipulated, reality can't. And they hope that by twisting words, reality will transform too.
