That's just heartbreaking. Being raised as a Catholic girl who had to get an abortion is probably some transwoman's wet dream.

"People spend so much time arguing with TERFs ..."

Where? When?

That was my reaction too. They normally just scream at "terfs" to shut up and then move on.

I feel for the OP. What a traumatic adolescence.

As to the commenters, they are so close but so far. Most acknowledged that there is a continual problem with TiMs silencing TiWs (big surprise!), but how do they come to the conclusion that radical feminists are the problem rather than sexism? It just goes to show you that no matter what people believe about gender, at the end of the day women, even TiWs, need female-only spaces to be able to safely express themselves. It is too bad they don't realize that we are on the same team.

"There's an epidemic of parents raising AFAB kids to be submissive incubators. This wouldn't have happened to me if I was AMAB."

OK, so most parents of girls seem to raising them to have careers and to go to college for the education and not to find a husband, I don't see this epidemic she speaks of. She said she's raised catholic, not amish. But her focus shifts from "kids", maybe that's just to contextualize her plight like the world is her context, to what might have happened to her if she were "assigned" male. Who does the assigning? Doctors observe the sex of a child, not gender. Are they conflating sex and gender again?
