You must've missed the post on the thread where a mansplainer said

I am constantly astounded by the amount of Cis Women who think that the Uterus is the actual cause of the menstrual cycle. Like the Uterus on its own is just a useless tissue sack that can't do anything by itself,

So the organ where we all began life is "just a useless tissue sack." Can you imagine if someone said something analogous about a TIM's lady dickor balls? Or his laydee brain?

Yeah, I could have phrased better. Does any cis woman actually believe that, or have they obfuscated "woman" so much that men are now the first thing you see when thinking of women online.

I'm also a little salty and struggling to think clearly thanks to a horribly infected uterus muscle and wondering if there is anyway we could subject these people to an internal ultrasound to make it abunduntly clear they don't even have the area for the probe.

They don't care. This isn't about reality or even observable facts, because it would be hand waved and talked over as soon as it's brought up. It's about their personal quest for validation, come Hell or high water. You could perform an ultrasound via their colon, but they think that it's being purely influenced by the exogenous estrogen and giving them the same cyclical effects that biological women have. I guess that the reproductive portion of human anatomy is skimmed over or just ignored in schools now.

Did they ever get to the bit where hormonal pills often stop that cyclical effect (if you don't take the sugar pills)? You can't replicate nature.

If you're talking about TRAs or TW, they probably got as far as "women have estrogen and men have testosterone", drew conclusions and closed the book. We both have both, but only we make progesterone. There's probably a good chunk of women that don't know about the skipping your period trick, to be fair. I always got one through them anyway.

Well, and not all women can take those hormone pills. I'd love to be able to skip periods, but alas, no dice.

You can sort of hack it with ibuprofen, if you're wanting to move through it more easily. Yeah, I opted out of hormonal contraceptives over 9 years ago and just went for a tubal ligation after my second child was born, butnot everyone gets that option either. It blows ass to deal with them, but I don't feel like a lunatic anymore.
