Seems like if the machine had issues in "man mode" with their chest, and issues with their crotch in "woman mode," then the obvious answer is to let them through, rather than let some stupid machine think for you.

"If you cannot or choose not to be screened by advanced imaging technology or a walk-through metal detector..." Then you next get a pat-down. "If a pat-down is performed, it will be conducted by an officer of the same gender as you present yourself." Oh dear. What about xenogenders? But they can use the metal detector instead. So that's good.

"If there is an alarm, TSA officers are trained to clear the alarm, not the individual." Well that's dumb. 'We do what the computer tells us.' The only reason the US airline industry has not been subject to terrorism recently is purely due to the ineptitude of bad people. TSA is all theater. Smart and clever people know how to easily cause lots of havoc. It just happens that being smart and clever also makes you generally immune to the kind of batshit ideas that makes people want to do those bad things in the first place.

Things that upset me: gender ideology, and the TSA.

The TSA sexually assault people all day, every day, so I've no sympathy for them here. And its fucked up that there's a scanner looking at people's genitals.

This person sees only himself as a human being who has rights and feelings in this situation. In his view, female TSA officers are servants of lower/no status and zero importance whose only role is to serve as props/tools in his quest for "validation." The feelings, experiences and histories of the female TSA employees do not matter one iota to him. What he's after is narcissistic supply.

Sadly, this will likely end in a multimillion dollar settlement for "discrimination", and no, not for the poor TSA agent

Technically, but as a female I'd let that one go and search him.

This one is so obviously not doing it to abuse or get a thrill. Also looks passably female

I personally hope that the TSA agent got the option to opt out. I don't think any woman should be forced to pat down a man's groin when that wasn't part of her job description.

But is it really up to you to rewrite the TSA rules and unilaterally decide what female TSA staff now must do?

This one is so obviously not doing it to abuse or get a thrill.

Those are some superb mind-reading skills you've got there, mate. Is your name Layla Moran?

Also [he] looks passably female

I find it offensive that you think female workers should have to forfeit their rights in the case of male people whose skills at impersonating the opposite sex by mimicking the most sexist stereotypes satisfy your superficial standards.

You are advocating that the world redefine what half the human race is based on a sexist, misogynistic form of lookism. This is a very anti-woman stance.

It should be up to the agent. Which is why I said I'd search him.

It's also a little insulting to suggest the average woman can't spot an agp perv. They don't pass even at 200 yards in the dark.
