and TIMs seem to not realise that men who do react violently to them are doing so out of homophobia, not misogyny. what they experience overwhelmingly is homophobia.

That, but I also think TiMs are vulnerable to abuse because they have such a small dating pool so often get trapped with shitty abusive men. They are mostly killed and attacked by people they know not random phobic men on the street.

What's driving me crazy is that so many people have been coming out with great explanations of the concept "not all men but you don't know which ones" but don't realize that applies to TIMs too.

No trans identifying male has ever mistakenly been a victim of femicide because the male perpetrator actually thought they were a woman.

I think some TIM prostitutes bit the dust that way, once they got discovered.
