"How a small group of transgender students are going to destroy women's sports is baffling," he said. "The governor needs to learn more about transgender people and engage directly with the community."

It literally only takes one TIM athlete to make a girl's race pointless. Or a girls soccer match life endangering.

  1. Okay, let’s entertain the just a small number of athletes argument. Let’s say there’s seven TiMs competing in the discus throw in the entire state of Tennessee. So, what happens when two or even three of the girls’ discus throw state championship places go to those boys? Does it matter then that only seven boys were competing against hundreds of girls?
  2. The small numbers argument is bullshit anyways. They trans-identified population has exploded over the past five years. It’s not like some 2011 figure where only .3% of population identified as trans.
  3. Let’s pretend we all roll over and accept boys who say they’re girls can pummel girls in sports and steal their scholarships. What happens when all the “non-binary” boys start claiming it’s unfair to ask them to play boys’ teams and that they should get to play on the girls’ teams instead? If there’s one thing the trans rights movement has shown us, it’s that the goalposts will never remain fixed. If we collectively accept the current TRA claim, I’m willing to bet everything I own that we’ll see non-binary people claiming they should get to choose which team they play on in 3-5 years.

Very true.

They were originally focused on the very effeminate transexuals getting a GRC easier.

Now it's 'no such thing as sex', and men in women's sports and changing room.

This is their constant whine: that it's only a "small" number of TiMs who are going to do this or that, like participate in women's sports or access women's locker rooms.

But even the threat of a "small" number of men has a chilling effect on women.

Most sports require a lot of really F-ing boring training time and, for some, one must start really, really young.

What girl is going to put in that type of commitment and sacrifice if there's even a chance that all her hard work - sometimes hours and hours daily - will be for naught when she's 14 and some TiM suddenly decides that he's a girl?

And in terms of locker rooms and other women's spaces, as we all know, women are justifiably frightened of men, who cares what their head feelz are. If there's even a chance that we will suddenly be confronted by a man while half-naked, we won't risk it. We will stay home with the net result that women leave the public sphere.

Which could be exactly what the deeper and more sinister goal is behind gender activism - to drive women from public life.
