I was reading this horrible piece today: https://katelynburns.medium.com/no-lesbians-arent-going-extinct-20a7a3aef448 and I stumbled upon this comment, it made my stomach turn: "What consistently blows my fucking mind with this bullshit argument is that they’ve nothing to say about people like me. For every trans man leaving behind the ranks of a lesbianism he never fit there’s a woman like me. Once considered a straight man but well actually a trans lesbian. Is there parity between trans men and women like me? Who knows. No one is clamouring for research grants to explore the possibility. But what I feel confident asserting with utmost certainty is that the likes of Sullivan are uniquely under-qualified to speak on the likes of trans issues or lesbian issues, much less their intersection. Men can't be lesbians. The issue today is that stating that simple fact makes you "a nazi" in the eye of social media.

Lol, reading comments that start with the likes of, "as an amab nonbinary pan-sexual..." or "as a transmasc androsexual..." almost always has me immediately skipping what they have to say. People who have to preface every comment with their made-up, snowflake titles, need to keep their thoughts to themselves.

It is laughable that he views the replacement of butch lesbians with straight men as an outcome that lesbians would view favorably. This is, of course, only true when the "lesbians" whose view you lend any credence to are straight men, and perhaps also the bisexual women who are willing to pander to them.
