Are you one of those people that believes a woman is someone with lip gloss and a dress on?

Anyway I was banned from r/actuallesbians :) Badge of honor, really

Clearly he is one of those people who believes a man who calls himself a lesbian is somehow not batshit insane.

If only this insanity were confined to the internet and never had contact with the outside world.

I'd be careful of your use of the word he. This one was a chick. A fucking brains-in-the-toilet chick.

Women are finding it extremely fun to hold back feminism and cater to males in the name of progress.

Oh my..... I thought for sure that was posted by a man. I've come to expect men to be anti-woman in general but to see so many women joining in..... I've lost two long-time friends over this. Friends who have never even known a TWAW in real-life. They just saw a video online and decided not accepting TWAW was like hating on kids with Down's Syndrome. "How could you!"

I cannot understand these women's "logic", and I have a brain that demands logic. I've read the usual explanations: women are "nice"; women have internalized misogyny; it's social contagion; women just want to be inclusive; women aren't raised to stand up for themselves..... It still defies logic.

I still find myself trying to piece it together as well. What do you have to gain, as a woman, by insisting that a woman is nothing more than a collection of stereotypes and not her biology?

To some women, it's comforting to think they have some degree of choice in the matter, rather than that they're women whether they like it or not and will always be vulnerable to misogyny on that basis.

They want to feel part of the "cool kids" group, that's it.
