I can't bring myself to vote for Biden. I won't vote for Trump either, but luckily I'm in a red state, so it doesn't matter. It really fucking sucks that the Democrats have chosen this hill to die on. What doctors are doing to children in the USA is a human rights violation, and I'm not going to support it.

Is it really a hill they've sworn to to die on though. Most people don't really understand trans issues at all and just think they're doing the right thing by supporting trans people. They have no clue about the social contagion, the autogynephilia, the autism link, the erasure of women and gay and lesbian people etc. They are going to have to be educated and part of that education is going to have to involve the participation of people who have genuine gender dysphoria aka mental health issues surrounding their gender (sex) identity - because if they are excluded from the conversation, it just makes the opponents of genderwoowoo look like haters. And we can't win anything that way.

Well we are also tying their hands behind their backs much like we are with parents. They can't question the child and are afraid to. I'm sure medical professionals are out there that don't want to touch this with a 10' pole because they can't in good conscience just go along with the bullshit, and if they did try to see them they'd be suggesting any other avenue of care first. No one wants to lose their license to practice.

Schools are allowed to keep parents in the dark if their child decides they want to change name and gender. Parents can get into hot water and risk losing custody of their children if they don't show 100% commitment and support to a minor's flippant desire even though they are the one adult who knows their child best. I know these things originated as some sort of safeguard or protection for the individual however the way in which they are hindering general practice and parenting today is just bonkers.

The Democrats are such idiots pushing this gender shit, because one thing parents will never allow is for the government to make decisions about their kid's health and fertility.

It's been successful in other countries. Parents have lost custody for refusing to medicalize their minor children. There are people advocating for that level of government intrusion in the USA.

A few divorced parents have already lost the right to have a say in what happens to their kids.

In Canada, where this is already happening, the gender lobby snuck the laws through before most people knew, but many Canadians, in my experience, don't have the raging personal freedom obsession (which to some extent I share) that Americans do.

I also think that Canadians are eventually going to elect some Big Mouth Who Claims He's Going To Own The Libs type as happened in the US w Trump. That Toronto mayor-type could go national.

The gender lobby has passed these types of laws in some US states, well under the radar, and congressman Ted Lieu has a federal Gender Identity Conversion Ban in the US House, but Americans are going to have a complete hissy fit once these laws hit home. For instance, FOX News made mincemeat out of Biden's trans kids comments.

Indeed. And the parents that are trying to get their kids to accept and love themselves are called bigots. Children rat out their parents. We live in dystopian times.
