Rant: It makes me so angry at how women are just supposed to accept that men loooooove porn and strippers and need to stfu.

Apparently, all men are pornsick too. Any man that doesn't watch porn or go to strip clubs must have a abusive wife. That poor dear. Articles that talk about the objective harm in the sex industry for both men are women are heavily biased and need to be ignored. Websites though like titsandass and the honest courtesan are great however, these women who are "sex workers" are the true feminists. Feminists who try to encourage girls to respect their bodies and actually want to contribute to society are nothing more then bourgeoisie feminists that want women to be like men, instead of embracing their femininity. I am just so angry today because I feel like feminism is losing.

There are men out there (although I think the number is probably dwindling) who do not watch porn. My husband is one of them, doesn't watch it now and never has. Any man who can't drop their use of porn is mentally ill and not worth having.

Also many more men who infrequently look at porn because they disapprove of it, but who at intervals step around its edges (not the transgressive stuff) because it's online and easier than anything else (who's ambitious when about to indulge in a solo sex session--that's when you vacate your conscious self with those "little" prohibitions). These are the men who can most easily just put an end to viewing porn, but seem to wait for the "right moment," which may or may not, come.

You're not alone, trust me. I had my own rant about this a few weeks ago (or was it years? Mere minutes? Who's to know, time is a flat circle and whanot...)

I hope this is not taken as self-promoting, but there's some very good commentary on this thread. Also - COOKIE RECIPES! What's not to love. Anyway, I feel you. The so-called feminism of today is nothing but pandering to men, and also making a huge deal of your ~identity~ while the actual cause of TRUE feminism is cancelled and pushed back and is so old school and sex-negative (blergh).

Heterosexual men want to see women naked. They always have. They always will. There's no way to 'raise them right' so that when they go through puberty they won't want to see women naked. If they can't see a woman naked with that woman's consent, they'll find another way to do it.

I really have no problem with that really. What I have a problem with the complete misogyny in the porn industry. Why does it have to be so violent? Why do so many men think sex with women is all about dominance and control?
