Are... you really ignorant? Have you ever read a history book? Developed any common sense? Spoke to a woman who wasn't brainwashed by gender ideology? Spoken to a man who isn't an idiot? Why do you think she needed to dress as a man? Think about it reeeeeally hard, and get back to me.

I think she needed to dress as a man because she needed to be seen as a man to do whatever she was doing.

Why would she need to be seen as a man? Could it be that she wanted to not be killed? Hmm? C'mon honey, they won't all be this easy.

What's your point? Did she need to be a man to do what she did, or not?

WHY did she "need" to be a man to do the same things she physically, mentally, biologically was able to do as a woman? You act as if this was her desire rather than based on the material circumstances of the culture she lived in. The CULTURE was the problem, not the clothing she was wearing. Jesus.

Ok. What part of that do I disagree with?

The part where that's not the same claim or ideology to which the TiFs dedicate themselves.

Pretending to be a man? That's exactly what TIFs do.

Your opinions are odd to say the least. You seem to purposefully misunderstand what is being said to you, and very often have some pretty dubious circular arguments around this entire sub.

Read the replies that were given to you. If you don't understand what is being very clearly explained to you, then read again. And again. And again. Until you hopefully understand that the historical and cultural context here is extremely crucial. Mulan was not a TiF, period. Stop spouting nonsense.

It is same as with James Barry. In England - women were not allowed by law to do surgeries, and women doing military were banned and punishment was life sentence in prison.

So the only way for her to become a surgeon, was to cosplay a man. Not because she wanted to dress as a man, but because there were no other way.

And similar laws and rules were through out the history in majority of countries. And even until recently (1970-80s, so I was already alive) in many countries women were not allowed to own a land or take bank loans or have bank account on their name. Even JK Rowling were publishing her first book and her detective books under the male name, because otherwise no one wanted to publish them or to take them seriously.
