Since this law will require female correctional officers to do pat downs and strip searches of men - and that will put female officers at greater risk of being menaced, sexually harassed and sexually assaulted by male prisoners - the union for CA correctional officers (California Correctional Peace Officers Association) should be protesting this too.

But I've seen no mention of the bill on the union's website or FB page:

Question to anyone: how is having to body search a male not sexual assault of the female officers?

Ladies, remember that we are fighting for women who can't fight for themselves.

Remember that the huge majority of these women are in jail for non-violent crimes, 82% of them have been abused (that's the ACLU statistic on women in California prisons from before the ACLU was bought by Trans, Inc.) and many are in jail simply for poor life decisions that stemmed from poverty and lack of opportunity to begin with.
