This is infuriating. But at least now when a GC woman is fired for stating reality, there is an army of women on Twitter to speak out.

For instance, Sasha White who was fired by the Tobias Literary Agency for GC sentiments on her personal Twitter is gaining a lot of positive attention while the Tobias Agency is being pilloried.

I'm just sorry the support wasn't there when MK Fain was fired.

We have to increase the pressure on companies when they do fire people for GC "Thought Crime" - we all need to speak out (to our comfort level of course).

It's insane how crazy the atmosphere is out there. And only feminists are targeted. If a woman said she didn't agree with transsexuality for religious reasons, that would be fully protected under the law. You can't be fired for that. But you can be fired for basing your views on feminist principles.

I think they'd shitcan over religious beliefs as well, especially if it's christianity. It's no longer a feminist only issue, it's an every woman issue and it's going to take more women paying closer attention to what's happening out there to make a change. We're getting fucked over, and it's like watching a murder but being completely incapable of doing anything about it.

It's pretty bad out there. But religious beliefs are still legally protected, at least in the USA. It's religious discrimination otherwise.

What about the gay couple and the cake thing though? I honestly don't even remember what ended up happening in that case (please forgive, it's late and I've worked and been taking classes all day). Religious protections have some reach, but when it starts teetering over into other protected group rights, there's going to be some issues.

In the US, feminists groups like the Women's Liberation Front (WoLF - my personal sheroes) have allied over women's issues with conservative Christian groups like the Alliance Defending Freedom.

WoLF got some criticism because some of these groups are not LGB friendly, but, if the Equality Act passes under Biden, LGB men will lose their rights along with women.

Brilliant article. Gives the lie to all that crap about cancel culture being a first world problem of rich celebrity types being too sensitive to criticism. Working people are being destroyed. I wish I could share it to my trans ally friends
