Hi, My job for almost a decade involved having to pay attention to global events, including events in the Middle East every day, so, just to keep the peace on this sub, can we not talk about "antisemitism" because, in the UK, the definition of "antisemitism" seems to have changed to include criticism of Israel? Especially since that discussion has nothing to do with GC feminism and could lead to division? Thank you!

If it’s not for discussion, we didn’t need to know your tendentious and incorrect opinion. From the UK Govt’s website:

However, criticism of Israel similar to that leveled against any other country cannot be regarded as antisemitic.

I’ll just leave this here and not discuss it further.

I know a lot about this topic because part of my job was tracking elections, but I thank you for agreeing to end this discussion as a sub on Gender Critical feminism is not the space to argue about what is "antisemitic" and what is valid criticism of another country's actions, especially as to how it affects your own country and the world. This sub is about feminism. Thanks.
