Why are there so many trans women in tech?

No, it's not "often." "Often" would be men who are used to calling the shots, have always felt contemptuous of the women in their lives, mean to their sisters, know-it-alls, emotionally stunted human beings. Fuck all of them. Trans is just a way of getting back at women.

Just as women aren't a monolith, men aren't either. shrugs

And I believe people can learn.

Yes, there are awful autogynephilic males that just need to go away. But I honestly think there are some males who are confused and hurt and have neurological issues and they need a little kindness and a fair bit of logical discussion of what being a woman really is and why they can't just decide to co-opt that.

That's true, but at the end of the day, the world is ruled by men. The approval of men means more to men than whatever empathy they have the potential of developing for the women in their lives. And noone craves that approval more than those who used to be outcasts. In my experience, socially inadequate males are a thousand times worse than the so-called "jocks". They're desperate to find anyone to look down for their own ego, so they're more likely to bully women. They're also more likely to give in to the bullying of the trans than normal men are because at the end of the day they're cowards, which contributes to an even worse environment for women.

Men? Sure.

These specific men? Not so much, a lot of the time.

I mean, I get what you're saying and you're right, like I said we shouldn't buy into their delusions. But I think we should leave an opening for a little kindness and understanding to the hurting and confused ones that could come to their senses and become allies if they understood what they were really doing to themselves, and to women.

Especially the ones who are basically brainwashed and railroaded children, and the classic transexuals who didn't initially pull this nonsense.

Much like we understand trans men despite their apparent surface desire to abandon us altogether.

It's not a question of "some males," the issue is, are there REALLY "some" autogynephilic males who are confused etc and need "a little kindness" (from women, natch). Do these mythical unicorns really exist? Where are they?
