Still, she used sex as the basis of her story. Whether her goal was a feminist one or an anti-conservative one, she still used sex subjugation to make her point.

I never followed her, and I have long stopped associating feminist discourse with writers because, chances are, they have ulterior motives and will often show their true colors when pressed, so my disappointment was more about her hypocrisy, the fact that she used feminism to become famous and celebrated and then shat on it the second the tide turned, and, more importantly the fact that there are human beings who are considered smart who think that "but fishes do it so the argument is true for humans" is a legitimate point to make.

Especially the last one is what riles me up, to be honest. It's just another hit to my already non-existent faith in humanity.
