I wouldn't personally. I love Harry Potter, finished the last four books within a week of their release dates, and also appreciate Rowling for speaking out knowing how vicious the response would be, but the only reason she's not a billionaire is she gave away so much money. Plus so many copies have already been sold that you can find them everywhere. Printing more seems almost wasteful, and the royalties would make no difference to her.

It's basically "voting with your feet" though, in this case "saying your opinion through money" (which is the only way that counts for companies including publishers at the end of the day). Rowling doesn't need any more money, but if sales of her books keep strong her publishers won't drop her and it might send a message to other companies who so far bend to every TRA whim. It shows them where the mainstream really stands, and what they want is that mainstream money.
