I read the article and the guy who came up with this says there are "so many incidents" then he doesn't name a single one. Very telling that he literally wants to call this CAREN.

It's really disturbing that they're suggesting that white women calling the cops on black men somehow inevitably gets those men killed, like the women are the ones doing that. No one should be calling the cops for frivolous reasons, but cops shooting people for non-criminal behavior is a MUCH bigger issue that this bill is glossing over.

I think this is encouraging women to let themselves be victimized. Many times if a women is threatened by a man, he'll be stronger and bigger than her, which means defending herself by physical means would be unrealistic so she calls the cops.

So if you don't call the cops you're getting raped. If you call them you're not getting raped, but how do you prove you would have gotten raped if you didn't call them? You can't, so you just did something bad by calling them. So unless you're actually getting raped, then you're the bad guy.
